I am new to jdm but really interested in older jdm. I was looking at a lot of good cars but wondered if shipping straight from Japan is worth it with all the title changes my friend said were necessary. Could anyone help me out?
Ps( I’m aware the car above isn’t jdm it’s just my current car that I got for cheap and couldn’t think of anything else to add to this post)

Should be pretty straight-forward, buy the car, pay for shipping, pay taxes and get it inspected. That said, easiest is to just buy one from an import dealership.
But you can find some good auctions in japan, dealerships always add a few grand mark-up to cover their fees. Maybe I should check up on tradecarview and see what the prices are like, I’d like a new jdm car right now as well, but I feel like the jdm dealerships around me are asking insane prices.
