✈️ “FREE” Flight? | Our Biggest Travel Risk Yet | Will We Survive | #budgettravel #wanderlust

Join us for an epic travel adventure! Our plan is to fly from Seattle, WA to Yokota, AFB Japan on a Space A flight. A FREE flight to Japan?!?! Yes BUT it’s risky for several reasons; we have a housesit with a corgi waiting for us, we can’t afford last minute tickets AND we have left ourselves NO other choice!

First, we fly from Salt Lake City, Utah to Seattle, WA and then…things get exciting! Our house is booked so we head up to Camano Island for a few days. Or so we think…

Then, we notice the blue screen of death is causing seats to open up for Space A because people are missing their connections into Seattle…SO, in a last minute decision it’s BACK on a train, to a tram, to the SeaTac airport to sign-up for our 1st try at a Space Available flight.

Next, we take a poor man’s business class flight from Seattle to….Korea? Yeah, space available travel can be crazy. We make the most of our FREE seats for the next 9 hours. Okay, we did pay $22 per person for pillow, blanket, meals, etc but otherwise it’s FREE!

After a quick layover in Japan….wait, what?!? We head on to Osan, AFB South Korea. Exhausted but optomistic we take a FREE shuttle to Camp Humphreys and from there a taxi to our airbnb. Whew! Talk about an EPIC travel adventure! Thanks for watching & please subscribe!
