Awa Dance Festival ( #Awaodori ) is the largest Mid-summer Dance Festival ( #Bonodori ) in Japan that has 400-year tradition. The annual festival held from August 12 through August 15 in Tokushima city attracts over 1.3 million spectators. The performances of famous dancing teams are well worth watching.
