I prefer taking the bus to either airport under certain circumstances: a) I have a lot of luggage like large roller and 2 bags b) I'm staying at an area where airport buses are nearby like Kabukicho c) my flight is around rush hour. Bus is more expensive compared to the trains and I've taken most of them. But you don't really want to be on trains with your gear.
hi. i want to ask. im ariving haneda from jakarta with ANA international flight. and im going to sapporo with ANA domestic flight. should i change terminal? so have to take all my luggage out and go to domestic terminal? please advice. thanks in advance
Rion – I love all your content. Before my trip to Japan it helped me learn the areas and things to do. During my Trip it was amazing to say "I was just there". Now after my trip, places like this give me fond memories of my own holiday.

I went to Haneda from Takaracho Station and went for the Asakusa Line going to Terminal 2. It was 35mins only 354Yen.

Why do you prefer ANA over JAL?
The Keikan (?) Bus leaves from Tokyo Station to Haneda or Narita about every 15 min. It’s only approx 13 USD to Narita and a bit less to Haneda. Can’t recall exactly. It’s easy, cheap and your luggage gets loaded in the bottom of the bus. And no need to transfer! Especially great for those w luggage!
(Airport Limousine bus costs a lot more!)

Rion, if you look into it and like it, you might check out the Tadami line in Fukushima for this winter, it's supposed to be very scenic. Perhaps there are things in Aizuwakamatsu to do as well in winter time.

Kyoto still green. just came back from japan today, visited beautiful, pleasant Oshino Hakkai village for Mt.Fuji view, see no mountain because is raining, heavy fog & misty, is okay I brought home lots snack & pickles sweets from the food vendors near by the pond. Definitely coming back again next year.

How hot (or cold) is it usually in late October / early November? We got cooked in August / September this year and considering moving next years trip to October/November, I got caught out a few times with the difference of left and right sides on the escalator, I got to practice my "sumimasen" those days haha
