  1. i spent last xmas in tokyo and it was pretty fun. highly recommend checking out the Tokyo Christmas Market in Meiji Jingu Gaien, lots of food, souveniers, and various live performances (music, dance, juggling, etc) and pretty cheap to get in. Skytree is another fun spot, with all kinds of stuff going on up the tower and down in the mall below it. KFC is also a must, but keep in mind that you need to reserve your xmas meal ahead of time. i tried going xmas day and all that was available over the counter was chicken nuggets and biscuits (which i of course bought.. lol)

  2. Reserve your KFC Christmas chicken way in advance if you want to get any. Around where I live, you can't even order basic chicken around Christmas without pre-ordering.

  3. Flyign domestically is beter if you want to go to the ends of Japan. Book it from outside of the country before the trip. There are special tourist prices.

  4. Reaction Videos are a hit or miss for me. I don't really mind reactional content that much, as long as the person reacting is adding to the original video. If you are not adding anything and just sit there like XQC often does, it is just content theft imo. Streamers do react to videos on twitch while eating and dont add anything to it. That is totally fine, but just dont upload it to YouTube as if you did anything yourself

  5. We had Christmas in Tokyo last year. Had a great day visiting the Studio Ghibli museum, getting the tickets was a quest requiring an almost D-day level of planning and coordination. The week prior we had been in Kyoto and while the old sites were fantastic, our feet even with socks froze on the wooden floors.

  6. In anywher eeven remotely in the vinicy of eastern europe, and middle, great meat .

Stamer was right, yes bring back real sausages , arrrr.

  7. I'd assume the same thing that was just a private road but since you're literally there to film it should have been fine, crazy

  8. That slipper question was on my mind too, I am a uk15 and finding anything here that fits is fun enough so in a country where your average person is half my size I'd imagine it'd be impossible, I'd be in socks or barefoot as theres no way even my toes would fit the generic slippers they have.
Old Dude sounds like some of the Old Buggers I've come across, should round them up and put them in a ring and see which one wins.

  9. Mean guy: "You have been in japan 5 years, you should speak Japanese better".
Imaginary you: "you have been alive 50 years, you should have a better attitude by now."

  10. He can't get mad for someone pretending to understand, because without pretending you can't even get integrated at all. You start off by understanding like 20% of their advanced Japanese. If you go with "I don't understand", thry will dismiss you. Only way to improve is to pretend to understand because noone has the patience to explain everything.

  11. I've been in Iwaki for 21 years. I was called a fake American by a grouchy old man once. I'm Japanese- American from Hawaii so you could imagine the things people say to me about my nationality. Come back again and I'll take you to some good ramen shops and a pretty cool bar run by a guy from Poland.

  12. LOL, great angry man story Chris, laughed all the way through. SPR, my favorite movie, ichiban … number one!

  13. This whole “raw dogging” trend is silly 🙄. I love a good long flight. Bring a good book or two. Watch a couple good flicks. Listen to some new albums. It’s just a great chance to relax, and enjoy the ride, as it were. I’ve also met some pretty interesting folks on a long flight. On the last one, I met some fellow metal heads on a flight to Dublin Ireland, and we met up a couple days after and had an awesome night out in the castle bar district 🤷. Though, I also tend to eat a good edible beforehand, and get good and relaxed 😉 😂.
