Apparently that Mari Car business you used got sued by Nintendo and was forced to shut down lol
But there is heaps of different business doing it now just without the Mario theme
This is the last of the supplementary videos for the Japan series. Planning to do more of these for other trips.
What do you guys think of them? Are they useful? Any other information you'd like to be included? What previous trip would you like me to cover next? Let me know π
4:14 Stayed at Mitsuwaya….one of the best hostels I've been anywhere in the world. Forgot what it was called ao glad to see it
Korea and Vietnam to cover would be good
Thank you for making these videos. I am going to Japan for the first time in November and your tips and advices are super helpful.
Thank You Karl πβ€π
For those going to Kyoto, do yourself a favour and do the full loop of the Fushimi Inari Taisha. There is not a soul over at the back section. You will get some great photos.
Really enjoying these shorter vids thanks karl. all the best safe travels π
Great video. I feel a lot what you mentioned is similar everywhere in Asia. People are super friendly, open minded and talkative. And they run into you when they see a camera. But I made the experience that Japanese people are more shy in this case. In Manila for example I had to try hard to not film people. π
thanks Karl
Did I just hear a little bit of a canadian accent when you said water @06:58 ππ
I wonder what kind of people ask "is traveling Japan without knowing Japanese possible?" What are you gonna do? Learn the language and then visit?
For an underrated city, I would recommend Fukuoka! I took the ferry from Busan to Fukuoka this summer and had a couple days there before heading up to Hiroshima, Osaka, etc. I loved it!
