Sendai Benyland & Zoological Park [仙台ベニーランド]
While living in Sendai, Japan, I had to take a visit to a local favorite, Sendai Zoological Park and the nearby Benyland. Opened in 1965 and 1968 respectively, the zoo turned out to be much bigger than I thought it would be.
And while Benyland doesn’t hold a candle to the larger, more well-known amusement parks, it still has a unique, retro charm, with some fun and interesting attractions.
