The smartest thing Universal ever did was build the first Hogsmeade! We live not far from Hollywood, and so few people went to the Universal Studios there that we could often get tickets for $20. As soon as Harry Potter started, they charged the same as Disneyland! And it's always packed! I took my kids to Orlando so that we could see not only Hogsmeade but also take the Hogwarts Express to Diagon Alley, and that was cool! (But very expensive.)
