Hi all. I know not all of this is Japanese (I see some instant pad thai, pho, etc and some of this is Korean, etc). But out of the actual ramen packets here, which brands would you recommend? Thanks!
What brands of ramen here are best?

That’s a pretty broad question given the variety of flavors and it’s very personal. What are YOU looking for in a bowl of ramen? Do you like spicy or fishy things? Etc.
Carbonara Buldak! Bright pink, top shelf. Spicy but not as killer spicy as normal Buldak.
出前一丁
Most of this is not Japanese instant ramen, but that doesn’t mean the others are not good, of course. As far as “Japanese ramen”, the best one here (actually the only one that I could see here except for one other at the top before the Korean section) is 出前一丁, of which there are a bunch of flavors. This brand is a go-to brand in Japan for lots of people, so start there maybe? I’m only saying this because this is r/Japanesefood and not r/ramen, though.
Samyang carbonara buldak (top shelf pink packaging) and Chapagetti
It’s not Japanese, but I like indomie
Anything that’s from Korea that’s not the spicy Buldak (ie. the Shin brand noodles, Jin), you could also nab Buldak if you enjoy eating super spicy stuff (I know I do), those Kimchi Noodle stuff is also quite good. I also recommend those Nissin noodles, the one with the boy holding a noodle case. Jjajangmen by Paldo(My favorite)/any other brand there and Chappagetti are also classics. If you want to stick to the easy to eat basics I’s recommend Indomie and its copy Mi Sedaap. If you want to go out of the norm and try out a different kind of instant noodle, I’d suggest the Bibimmen in the blue packet down in the far left corner at the end of the video. It’s like a cold spicy noodle, perfect for a hot day or to just cool yourself down.
Tl;dr: Shin (black version), Jin, Kimchi, Nissin, Jjajangmen, Chappagetti, Indomie, Bibimmen.
Most brands here are Korean but lots of good ones!
Nissin is my go to for an easy ramen but if you want something different spicy sesame nissin as dry noodles is good, drain off most of the water and then add the spice packet.
If your partner is not a big fan of spice shin ramyun made with milk is really good too!(plus you can reserve some of the spice packet of it, for pasta and other things!) You can boil it in some water then drain off and add milk + spice packet (or just cook it fully in milk but be careful not to boil). However at this point I wouldn’t call it ramen 😅
If you like a chewy noodle the potato ones are good too, not spicy but for yours you can add that reserved spice packet from the shin ramyun
Conan! What is best in life!?
