Hi Anna and thanks for the new video. The Ritz Carlton looked like a really nice hotel to stay with wonderful views from your room. The area around Nikko is also stunningly beautiful especially Kegon waterfalls and Mt Hangetsu observation deck. Take care of yourself and enjoy your weekend.
Ahh! I was looking at this hotel recently since I want to go to Nikko…. they have a "suite" which costs over 900,000 a night!!! If you cancel less than a month before staying, you don't get your money back. 🤨

The best hotel on the canal. Magnificent modern Japan architecture. Simple, but very stylish and elite. The view of the lake is excellent. I can even stay in the elevator.
Hi Anna, it was funny, the video flowed through very quickly, I was completely lost in it. Did you enjoy driving around the area, over little hills and passing tempting places to stop. With all the trees you must have felt a little cooler from the heat. I was wondering if you do a lot of trips with your husband around your home city or when he gets a break to parts of Europe. You have many places close by for you to explore. Being back in Japan, I thought you would probably miss it, but with your new start in life you gained the wonderful feeling of seeing everything in your country as fresh and new and exciting. I feel sorry for the people having to endure the tremors and tsunami's that pop up. The advanced warnings I think give a short notice but if you live in danger areas from a child you learn what to do. There's a storm spinning around outside now, we had no warning.
