This video shows you the center of Asahikawa City, where the city’s largest summer festival is taking place.
The summer festival is called the ‘Sanroku Festival (3・6祭り / 3-6 Festival),’ and as the name suggests, it is held every year around the area of 3-jo 6-chome.
The festival events vary by day, including mikoshi shrine parades, Yosakoi Soran dance performances, fireworks displays, or taiko drum performances and so on.
This time I walk towards the area around 3-jo 6-chome from Asahikawa station square, and explore the food stalls and stage events.
