This is my very first travel going to a place that is totally different from where I grew up.
I travel every other year from Canada to Philippines for vacation. I never did go elsewhere and this would be the first and alone.
I knew I had to go somewhere as my mental health was being challenged already. 2021 my father passes and 2023 my mother passes. Add to that was my brother-in-law passed 2022. I thought that I will be ok but grieving is different for every person. When I see myself crying for no reason and worst is, in a split if a second, I thought if ending it all.
As I watched videos on youtube about Japan🇯🇵 and my partner and I supposed vacation together was postponed, I didn’t feel like I could not wait any longer. I needed to get out of 🇨🇦. And I told myself that I wanted to document this journey because I wanted to see and feel that it had helped me to be a renewed person, for the better .
