Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the top motor shows globally for modified and tuned cars. The sole reason we’ve been planning this trip for the last two years has finally come! Tokyo Auto Salon 2019!
The show is ENORMOUS! In 2019 there were 330,666 visitors over the three days, 906 vehicles on display over 4,100 display booths in a hall that has over 7 square km of floor space.
The show is run over three days opening to the public on Friday afternoon, and continuing over the Saturday and Sunday.
We had a few hour to kill on Friday morning to started off the day by visiting the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office building in Shinjuku before heading into the show.
We finished off Saturday night with a well earned dinner at Shake Shack Ebisu before crashing.
The show is amazing in scope and breathtaking in display. If you’re a motor-head or petrol-head you must put this on your bucket list.
