It does exactly what it says on the tin
I couldn’t understand where all the noise was coming from and it uh turns out that there’s a small cesna plane or something like that it must have some huge loudspeakers on because that’s what we can hear now gu it’s a it’ll turn into a form for advertising this is the big uh Church yart in Nagasaki as you can see it’s pretty huge and it’s on a steep slope it’s one of the only places in nakasaki where there isn’t a lot of urban buildings it just seems like it goes on forever and ever this is the site of the martydom of the 26 Saints of Japan apparently in 1597 I think it was um six Christian missionaries and 20 Christian Japanese were crucified on this spot to put an example against Christianity and they built the park to remember and there’s also this and uh I’m not quite sure what it is but it looks like it belongs in a in a calistic painting something found this beautiful little Temple it’s really really nice but you look Beyond it and what is this it’s a bit uh out of place just look at that it’s some guy being wor woried by children I’m not sure but it looks like it and riding on the back of a giant turtle hey jeez okay okay very silent this is suuki Temple it’s probably a a more traditional Temple as we would understand it in in the west it’s uh bit odd seeing that symbol here this is a much more tranquil place I ran into a Japanese funeral procession when I visited the temple that was quite a quite an extraordinary site they came up bearing pictures and small Stone monuments to to place on the tomb unfortunately I didn’t get get any pictures of that but as you can see the rest is is very sober and I like the outfit of the of the priest so I’m in another Temple this one is of Chinese origin and was built for Chinese traitors in Nagasaki to prove their allegience to the Buddhist uh culture and distance themselves from the Christians this is my local market it’s right around the corner from where I live when the wind is right I can smell all the spices and food from the so I guess this is a fish Mark we even got rays as always the Japanese are sleeping that after all the uh temples peaceful Tranquility today I think I’ll uh just take a brief walk into a Pachinko which is a gaming Hall and show you what that’s like h
