Hello everyone! Join us on a 1 day trip as we visit Kobe Japan for the very first time! Kobe is famous for its Kobe beef (premium beef), which is so tender juicy and tasty.
The top five places we visited in 1 day are:
1. Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens and Ropeway – Since we visited in the winter season (December), there were barely any flowers and it was so cold so I would recommend visiting during another season such as spring.
2. Eat Kobe Beef – We ate at the Kobe beef Gallery Restaurant right outside of the Herb Gardens, which included a small museum type area showcasing Kobe beef, including the history and facts about Kobe Beef.
3. Meriken Park and Port area – It is a very clean and nice place to relax and enjoy Osaka Bay. There is also a nice Starbucks at the port offering baked goods and a wide variety of coffee/drinks.
4. Kobe port tower – It is also located in the Kobe port area
5. Mt. Rokko – A beautiful view of Osaka Bay and Kobe City! It was a windy long road to get all the way to the top of the mountain but it was worth it. Also, there is a nice restaurant where you can also see great views and the food was delicious (Steak, pumpkin soup, and the cheese pizza for the kids).
