Good morning, good morning welcome to a new video guys again I am here in Okinawa, Japan and I’m flying to Taiwan today it is the first time I’m going to Taiwan and I am so enthusiastic about it I’m very excited honestly I’m staying at an amazing hotel so I cannot wait to check in there after weeks of sleeping in hostels we’re finally going to go to a very nice hotel I’m going to show you everything we will be staying in the Ximen area for the first two nights and that is perfect because then today we have the whole day to explore the Ximen area so I’m going to take you guys with me obviously and I have enrolled into the special Taiwan program where you can get five or 6,000 Taiwan dollar to use on transport or accommodation and I chose transport so I got a QR code in my email already and I’m going to see when I arrive to the airport in Taiwan if I really won that price I really hope that I won it but let’s see we have to wait like half an hour more to board the plane and then we will be on our way are you ready? let’s go! [INTRO] [Music] Guys we made it just landed in my 39th country Taiwan I’m on my way to immigration now and then we’re going to go to the booth to see if my QR code as a winning pricee for me for the five or 6,000 tai1 I think immigration will go very fast because the majority of the people on my plane were all Taiwanese it’s 10:00 a.m. in the morning with the whole day in front of us no look at all those people no where did all those people come from I think it’s going to take me like at least 45 minutes oh my goodness this is crazy all right I’m through it and I already see the lucky lands area there and it seems that a lot of people are actually standing in line so everyone is doing it I’m in the queue I don’t know how long it’s going to take but probably like at least 15 minutes apparently everyone is doing this so yeah oh let’s see if I’m the lucky one oh [ __ ] okay I didn’t win but this is actually until 2025 so if you’re coming to Taiwan definitely register yourself at least one way one day before you arrive and then you maybe get the priz you had to tap the coins on the screen but I was too busy recording it but if you come to Taiwan before 2026 click the link in the description to sign up for this Lottery all right guys we made it and I’m walking now to my hotel it’s very close to the main station it is a great day because the sun is shining I like Taiwan already yep green traffic lights that’s funny it’s a big intersection than god wow what is that building there all the way on the end looks amazing been walking around here a little bit already and I must say it is definitely more Chinese than Japan but of course it is part of China but I will consider Taiwan as a separate country it’s a PR nice city it’s clean kind of but not so clean as Japan but nothing is as clean as Japan the hotel is located right next to this huge famous street with a lot of shops and advertisements and food and everything it’s a very popular place to go Cen area it’s called and I’m literally arriving to my hotel right now somewhere here I think oh yeah here it is there’s entrance already perfect H logo you can’t miss it here I am with all my luggage oh my God I’m ready for Japan oh no Taiwan oh my God I just did 29 days toan I’m ready for Taiwan is there a party going on yeah what you have a party going on stuff party stuff party yeah so you’re not partying oh hi hi I’m oh hey we to thank you thank you look at this it’s so detailed and then when you get closer look what it is it’s all stickers wo oh my goodness wow this is huge wo with a bed for like five people look at this that is crazy they have a whole chill area you can lay your kids there then you have this curtains here and then you can separate you can separate that area from this area wow my God this is amazing look at me oh my goodness this is great I have a really nice real idea so I’m going to record that right now and then we’re going to head out we’re going to explore this neighborhood it is going to be fantastic first I’m going to rest a little bit to be honest because I’m so tired I’m sorry but then I have a whole planning for today and for tomorrow and for the day after so it’s going to be crazy oh my God I already love Taiwan I’m going to take you on this trip so I’m going to make myself ready and we’ll see each other in a little [Music] bit [Music] all right we are on our way it’s a little bit past 400 p.m. so it’s still daylight and everyone is still on the street you know what I’ve seen a lot of scooters actually standing everywhere that reminds me really of Thailand actually I was like am I in Bangkok you see that we’re getting Souther and Souther in Asia because in Japan you don’t have a what is this for cute Street oh my goodness how nice wow it’s amazing we have to get some nice dinner today I didn’t even know what I’m going to eat I’m still thinking about Ramen and everything but it’s obviously more Chinese here so they’re eating more rice well shopping district here Cen area anyways we’re walking to the presidential office building it is a very old building and it looks very beautiful I would say with white and red so it is a piece of history of Taiwan uh has something to do with China I have to read about it but I’ll let you know in a bit so we have to cross this huge road again and then walk for like 5 more minutes and then we’re there the temperature is good actually everyone is wearing jackets but I’m kind of well I’m not warm but I’m like comfortable I would say oh my God I cannot wait to lay in bed tonight and sleep in a huge bed wow this is one of the most comfortable BS I’ve had probably in my life oh I think this is it guys boom right there okay let’s see if there is maybe like a front or something I think we’ll have to walk around it yeah I was right I have to walk around it but this is the building actually but from the back side it looks a bit weird but probably from the front it will be very impressive you know all these Scooters look at that my God it really looks like Thailand I guess the is really better here right cuz if it rains so much like it does in Japan then no one drives a scooter same for Spain and Holland there’s so many more motor riders in in Spain oh wow look I’m going to start walk a little bit faster because they want to see the front of this building so the presidential building is right behind me this is probably where the president lives from Taiwan right and there in the distance you see building 101 right now I’m at the presidential building and it is actually really nice it’s very wellmaintained of course because the president lives here there are a lot of guards with Big Guns also and army trucks like the security is uh well organized I would say yeah I’m walking to the long sand temple now it’s 1.2 km away from where I am now and I must say I’m not a huge fan of hiking and walking as you guys know but it’s fine I just had a nap so I’m full of energy again and you know what’s nice that taipe has a lot of treats a lot of greenery here you’re covered now by trees everywhere it’s so green so I think that’s really good because that you know also makes it more pleasant to live I think right isn’t that a proven fact look at this beautiful old Greek building it’s the Taiwan High Court Seville appeals well it’s a very important building and it’s beautiful straight from gree I Love Actually to walk with the sun in my face kind of let me see hello hello son hello yeah oh no I have to sneeze okay oh yeah so great I can’t believe it oh guys I saw this beautiful Temple when I looked to the left on the other side of the street there was this huge Temple like a roundabout Temple I’m walking to it now to see it from a little bit more up close well this Temple is not so big but but it’s still very beautiful I would say nice look at that you cannot really go in it cuz it’s high up and on the roundabout so circling traffic all around it all the time that’s a good way to decorate your [Music] roundabouts this is apparently the Old Town of Taiwan and you see the little lanterns hanging here it’s so cute and it really is like the old building still they have like support right to not fall apart so this is from 1898 so that is over 100 years old that’s pretty old historical Street that’s what it is how nice it’s a good afternoon I would say and there’s so many 7el and family Marts I feel like I’m still in Japan with them with a lot of scooters you know I haven’t seen Lawson though so we got to fight in Lawson but I’m not sure if they’re here let’s see we’re almost there guys we’re almost there I just followed the street and then I arrived at the entrance of this street where there is a huge market and they’re not only selling fresh fruit but they’re also selling clothing and everything the street is huge going to Cen I think TOS Cen but the temple that we’re going to is right there it’s very close but look at all this livelihood here everyone is here on the streets selling things this is more Asian I think oh look the lanterns oh are we here oh my God it could be wow that is very nice yeah I think this is the temple and then you have the square right in front of it let’s see if we can go [Music] in [Music] W this looks like a whole theme park oh my God it’s not only the old historical Temple but they build all of these modern light things around it like like this you know and the dragon’s there oh wow the waterfall oh my God this is crazy this is beautiful let’s see if we can go in and then walk through it to the other side okay so entrance is free but you can book a guide a tour so that’s why they have all these people working here to sell you a guide a tour but you can just enter for free and it’s literally a very beautiful Temple it is so old and is amazing wow it is insanely beautiful but also insanely busy my good so this is something they do with each Temple they have these little blocks and then they ask a question to their God and if the blocks fall on the ground one upside down and one head up then that means yes the god agrees to your question if they are both upside down then it means maybe and if they’re both head up then it means no or I’m mistaken with the last two but it is something like that it’s something I’ve never seen actually something I’ve never seen uh in any temple in any country this is very special I this Temple is insane guys write it on your list definitely if you come to tape go here and even better if you come here with sunset wow it is so pretty it is so pretty so much to see so much decoration so much history it’s it’s so authentic even though it’s so busy yeah it’s very authentic I think it is [Music] beautiful [Music] there’s so many flowers here that’s why it smells so much like flour cuz there’s so many flowers and these orchids and leles wow I love it look at the color of these orchids the Leela color so beautiful it’s so beautiful and it smells so good but I see like every there’s like a lot of windows with a lot of gods and everyone is literally going to all the gods to pray so not just one but they literally stop everywhere and pray everywhere or a small little prayer like bowing right so I don’t really understand what that means I thought it was like one Buddha or like one God but here there are so many and they are praying everywhere everywhere I just feel like I’m only disturbing but it’s so pretty and I would have shared with you also here everyone is asking the question to their God again with throwing these things on the floor and see if their God answers yes to them it’s only yes maybe or no there’s not like any other four of answer right yes maybe or no and maybe kind of means yes so actually there’s only yes and no but I don’t understand why they put so much food here and like weird stuff like little Breads and yogurt or noodles it seems nuts fruit even potato chips I don’t understand who’s going to eat that then all these flowers with messages it seems that will stay unresolved Mysteries I think I’m speechless this Temple is so beautiful I keep seeing wow that table is full of food so much food and there’s also always a lot of people here so I think this is like the favorite corner of people or the favorite God or the biggest god well if you know why people put all the food there if you know why they do that please let me know down in the comments I would love to hear it okay we’re back at the main little square inside the temple we’re going to go out the exit there to see more of the beautiful things they set up outside this tiger looks like a Pokemon don’t you think and I don’t mean that with any disrespect but it really looks a little bit like a Pokemon it’s beautiful with the water everywhere they did a really good job setting all of these things up wow oh my God and they big fish too oh these beautiful fish I would love to have those fish if I have a big garden with a big pond I would love to have those fish and I can watch them all day I love them they’re so fat and they’re beautiful colors I bet you can make great sushi from them I’m not sure I don’t think people eat them but they hell yes look very tasty well that was a very nice Temple I must admit that a very good start of my Taiwan trip I actually think that I am lucky today to be here to have this amazing hotel to be in a center to have this weather the only thing that was a bit unlucky today was the price that I did not win right the $5,000 Taiwan dollars but okay it doesn’t matter I mean public transport is cheap anyway so it’s fine let’s walk back to the Chan area and it’s like half an hour walk I’m really tired of walking but it’s fine I bet we’re going to see beautiful things along the way look at this this is so funny I mean if I would see these things in Europe I would probably think that they don’t even work anymore these are so old they’re like Minecraft pixels right with all these are here just playing the old school games how cool is that just here in the market right here on the street there they are yeah now I really feel like I’m in Thailand these Treet Food Markets with selling fish in the street and everything and the cheap restaurants where everyone is eating oh my God look at this wow this is the Tourist Night Market okay the tourist night market so it looks a little bit fancier than the one just here on the street this is so so nice I love this you know this is so authentic like people coming from China or wherever and then just making food and then selling it for no money that’s amazing let’s just let’s walk through the tourist Night Market and’s see how different the tourist Night Market is from the normal KN [Music] Market oh there’s a l of massage salons here you can get a massage here everywhere now I really feel like I’m in Bangkok oh not so much food maybe I should just keep walking the the big regular Street cuz there’s all the [Music] food oh this street is really cute guys with all the lanterns all the different colors but everyone there was already having dinner and I feel like everything is closing early here like restaurants and stuff you know so I have to see if I need to eat something oh wow look another Temple sometimes I feel like I want to be religious you know I want to believe in their God but I I don’t like I don’t believe that there something so like yeah you either do or you don’t right you believe in aliens or you don’t anyway so walking back slowly to my hotel and then in the meantime I’m going to see if I find something that I can [Music] eat I was sitting outside but he said no no no you have to sit inside have to sit inside so now I’m inside and he put me on the table with another guy they just put people on on the same table I think here it’s nice it’s a bit warmer here though it is it was getting cold actually oh I ordered a pork with rice and spring rolls I think it said vegetarian rolls in Translation so I have no idea that came really quick oh my God okay let’s see first meal in Taiwan here we go very Chinese all the four I like wait for the rolls and see that’s interesting it does not really look like a spring roll yeah with rice even it’s like a burrito like an Asian burrito Sushi it’s almost Sushi well that was actually really good and really cheap only 95 Taiwan dollars I’ll put in screen what that that is in yours I have no idea but not even $100 for this meal and it was quite a lot and I’m full now it has been a really nice first day great first impression of Taiwan it’s going to be 31° later this week and I’m still going to be here so I’m going to see if I maybe have to find a pool or something to cool off but let’s see what we’re going to do because I’m also want to go to the south of Taiwan to C I don’t remember so that was it for today thank you so much for watching I really appreciate you leaving a like to this video if you loved
