There is a tire shop in Sagamihara, Japan, where the owner collected over a hundred vending machines in one place. These vending machines sell unique items like curry rice, ramen, udon, and etc that are surprisingly fresh and delicious. In this video, I will show you guys how much they cost and share my honest thoughts on the food!

can you believe that I just got this Ramen from a vending machine because I did today I’ve traveled to the city of sagamihara in Japan to visit the biggest vending machine Park in Japan or the biggest in the world this place has way over 100 different vending machines that sell just about anything including Coca-Cola and popcorn to very unusual items such as freshly cooked noodles shaved ice and even film cameras well do you guys wonder what it’s like to go there and have all kinds of food then keep watching the video because I’m about to show you the vending machine Park is located right next to this tire store apparently the owner of this tire store is a vending machine collector it was about lunchtime when I arrived and I saw a lot of the local Japanese people that came here to get their lunch here they have dozens and dozens of vending machines side by side and they don’t just have Coca-Cola and Sun Chips they actually have all kinds of different food that the vending machine somehow makes on the spot and hopefully since it’s Japan they all taste amazing what they have a toast as well so what am I waiting for let’s get some food I want to go for the ones that are like the most interesting interestingly they also had this retro arcade in the same place the vending machines only take coins so you’re going to need a lot of them and this is where you get your change the machines were visibly old but they were all in a surprisingly good condition this lady in front of me is getting her udong from the vending machine maybe she knows what she’s doing I’ll get udong too so it says it’s 400 Yen for the udong let me try that and this is giving me a [Music] countdown oh my God that’s the Udo except I only have one hand oh God ah I got I got this wow very kind Japanese people thank you very much oh my God they’re so nice H okay let’s find myself a space to eat wa what the hell that looks legitimately good my first impression was that it didn’t look like vending machine food maybe there’s a small Japanese person in the machine making the food now let’s pull out the Chapstick that the very kind Japanese person gave me the person got me the sauce as well my friends do not try to argue that this doesn’t look like a legi do you guys want some and let me tell you it tasted as as good as it looks I don’t think I’ve had anything better from a vending machine before I will say that this this is just like any UD of course it’s far better than some CB noodles see how they even have beef in there too this is just really cool this is only my first one but I’m already impressed the ud was so good that I had no problem finishing on the spot not bad as my first Pig for only 400 Yen less than $3 this is this is very impressive they’re really enjoying that udong too I actually finished it hi [Music] oh such sweet people when you’re done with the food there’s a place where you can dispose the food waste and this is trash maybe I should put myself in there too just kidding I’m not trash although there is a part of me that is trash my new friend is getting some popcorn TCO flavor car car car it says chocolo flavor here but it says caramel here the popcorn is only 150 Yen that’s so that’s like a dollar that’s so affordable the popcorn machine really took its time that even this Japanese girl started to worry wow it smells so good it smells like butter wow wo it’s steaming hot that’s so cool this very kind ladies offering me some popcorn thank you so much thank you I I’ll just have one okay this is better than I thought maybe two thank you so much here’s the 27c curry advertised by Noto Indian looking children well you guys look more Indian than me I’ll take it it’s 500 yen I’ll get the most basic one one on the left it’s kind of hard to tell tell whether this is working or not there’s a spoon right next to it very convenient and there’s my Curry oh wow that looks so good there’s like pieces of meat in there too this is so cool now that looks like a legitimate curry rice I don’t know how it comes completely prepared from a vending machine there’s actual pieces of meat potatoes Curry and the rice the rice looks really fresh too this is insane wow this is this is really good like if I got this in a restaurant I wouldn’t be like very excited about it but if somebody gave me this and told me it’s from a restaurant I would believe it if you guys haven’t tried it Japanese Curry is very different from Curry from other countries the spices are not as strong and I feel like it’s a little bit more on the sweeter side I personally really like it especially with some fried chicken for what it is though the curry was surprisingly good you know what I think is really cool about Japan they really take care of what they have like these vending machines in any other countries they would have been destroyed decades ago most of these vending machines look like they’re at least 20 years old and they’re still functional Isn’t that cool I realized that about Japanese cars and other products too the owners they take really good care of them they have a cigarette vending machine here these are like the most harmless looking cigarette packaging n we’re going to give you lung cancer well it turns out they’re not real cigarettes but they’re cigarette shaped candies in the back alley they have even more vending machines the ones in the back they’re more snacky and some of them are like toys oh this is kind of cool they have a little camera vending machine here so you can get your instant film camera and you can get films too I wanted to buy some films for myself but unfortunately they were sold out this is really cool they have a Coca-Cola machine here it’s 100 [Music] yen I’m going to be a good American and get my Coca-Cola I’m not American by the way I just feel like one sometimes there’s a little can opener here what you got to do is stick that bottle in there just kind of Yank It Coca-Cola my friends [Music] as good as the one that I had back home America there’s kakigori shaped eyes I won’t lie these vending machines look older than me the 150 Yen I’m going to get that meon F oh it almost missed my cup and then my survival instant kick in and I’m sure they got some spoons here of course they do this will be pretty amazing during summer today isn’t that warm but that’s okay so what it is it’s just crushed eyes with some syrup in it and it’s like the most artificial tasting syrup H well I don’t think this is going to impress a lot of people but it’s just really cool to try I come from a pretty small town in Korea so back when I was young a lot of small vendors used to sell this in for of school what else can I have so they had a more expensive looking machine in one corner oh that Ramen looks good 1,000 yen for a vending machine item is a lot of money cuz you can get a Ramen from a restaurant for less than thousand yen well I was curious so I just had to find out what it’s like although I think it might have been a mistake bye oh what wait that was so fast that doesn’t make any sense mother no it was frozen Ramen I didn’t no maybe I’ll just give it to my new friends all I didn’t know it was frozen this is frozen food eat [Music] this well that wasn’t part of the plan but at least the Frozen Ramen didn’t go to waste and that makes me want to have Ramen even more more I’m still really bummed about the Frozen Ramen situation I’m glad that the ladies got to keep the ramen but I want myself some Ramen too just when I thought I wanted to get some Ramen I got to witness how they’re maintaining these fresh noodle vending machines they’re doing some maintenance here and this is the noodle that goes into the vending machine oh so this is why it can be so good they’re just putting in some noodles in there but it’s like a legitimately made Noodle and all the machine was doing was to add the soup to it no no wonder these were so good wow that’s the ramen that goes inside the machine that is so cool that looks so good after seeing that it almost seems silly to get one of these cup noodles these are just over a dollar but it just can’t be as good okay let’s try that Ramen [Music] then in here they have the Chopsticks and the seasoning packets and there’s my Ramen oh God I try to tell me that doesn’t look good to me cuz that looks like a really good ramen what am I waiting for let’s get this Ramen oh god look how they have chashu so it seems like what the machine does is just pouring hot broth to the dry ingredients very clever way of managing it I just saw that gentleman putting this Ramen into the vending machine I would say this is comparable to convenience store Ramen in Japan I wouldn’t go as far as saying that this is like going to a restaurant for ramen but it was definitely steps Beyond instant noodles and it had lots of chachu the pork slices and lots of meat in my mouth keeps me very happy pretty decent amount of food for 400 Yen [Music] too I’m I’m really [Music] impressed just like the udong that I had earlier this was extremely satisfying and I was so happy that I got to try it I only have that orange juice 600 Yen it’s kind of expensive but that’s okay well it looks like my Japanese Yen didn’t go to waste because the machine squeezed out a few fresh oranges just for my juice oh wow the juice felt ice cold in my hand which got me really excited Japan has paper strolls too I guess Japan cares more about the sea turtle lives than the Dolphins let’s drink this so how does it taste wow it was about as good as orange juice can get sweet and flavorful yeah this is a legitimately good juice the imaginary American in me demands something that is American though and thank God they have hamburger vending machine Mr burgers hamburger it made me really wonder how a hamburger can come out of a vending machine there’s only one way to find out this is it after I pressed the button it started heating up the hamburger that’s inside the machine 15 seconds remaining this is so retro and cool oh my burger is here I loved how it comes in this adorable paper box so that is my hamburger now I’m genuinely curious to see how good this is going to be it comes in a little paper packaging o it’s it’s really hot wow okay it’s not the best looking burger just looking at the Burger it had a lot of That World War I vibe to it but is it actually good okay I was not impressed by their burger the burger patty had like no life to it it had drying of ketchup and mustard some pickles some onions it didn’t taste or SM smell funny or anything but this makes McDonald’s cheeseburger look like a luxury Burgers can be really affordable in Japan so I would say this is a great deal it’s just kind of cool to have if this was the only Burger that’s allowed in America I think it might solve the Obesity crisis forever although it’ll probably depress a lot of people I also wanted to get something sweet so I decided to get one of these donut [Music] sticks I found extra 10 Yen I’m keeping that [Music] and then it just shuts the door this isn’t anything crazy it looks like a donut with a stick [Music] inside it’s very bready on the inside it feels much like the the DAR store Donuts kind of feels like that so it didn’t taste as amazing as it looked but it is very affordable and I got it from a vending machine so I think there’s not a lot of room to complain here let me get that coffee to end the day with anyway there was my time at the vending machine Park in Japan hope you guys enjoyed the video oh that’s really
