Today we visited Nara Deer Park in Japan. We take the short train journey from Osaka to Nara where we spend the day playing with the famous Bowing Deer of Nara, drinking coffee and eating traditional Japanese food in the form of Wagyu Udon Noodles. This is definitely the BEST thing to do in Japan. 🇯🇵

wow oh my God there’s so many 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 oh my God there’s so many and it bows to you B oh my god that actually bows wow is good morning everyone and welcome to Osaka here in Japan So today we’re going to do something different and we’re going to head outside of Osaka and head to a place called Nara now Nara is world famous for its Deer Park and its traditional Japanese settings so we’re going to catch a train from Osaka to Nara and spend a day there um basically it’s just going to be nice to get out of Osaka and a lot of people actually recommended doing this instead of Kyoto right now so we’ll go see what it’s like um hopefully we get a nice exciting train on the way there’s like a really old rustic vintage train that you can catch from Osaka to Nara so we’re going to try and get that uh it’s now about half 7 a.m. qu to 8 8:00 so we’ve got an hours walk until the training station and then hopefully we pick up from there you excited I’m so excited I see so many good videos probably the de bow to you as well yeah I don’t know if they’re trained to do that if that’s just like I don’t know it’s a bit weird but um yeah see some really exciting stuff so F to experience it perfect thing is it’s a lovely day today as well not a single cloud in the sky so hopefully it’s going to be a scorcher come with us and see the deer at Nara right then so we’re at Osaka nber station have no idea where we’re going uh we’re supposed to find A1 now we can find A1 hoping it’s the same uh so we’re going to have to speak to ticket office and see if we can get some tickets because not I hope she speaks English because fo that way where was the other station then right so it turns out we was in the wrong station we’re now having to find out a different station um the thing is when you don’t speak Japanese or understand it it’s very very hard to get around and today just proves that so doesn’t even look like a station though it doesn’t he told us to walk through here um I mean God knows where we’re going to be honest we’ve got about just 15 minut 15 minutes to get tickets to get the train and find the station so I think we’re going to miss it to be honest um I have to go the later train but so annoying I don’t even think there is a later train that loves this like Express like [ __ ] sake they’ll do it tomorrow right then so it turns out that the train we wanted was actually fully booked uh and now it’s one of these special trains that only really run on weekends and uh Saturdays and bank holidays so uh yeah I can imagine like it gets [ __ ] up massive on social media yeah I can imagine it gets bucked up like months in advance so I mean we completely [ __ ] it but oh we’re still on the way to Nara we’ got tickets now so hopefully we can hop on one of these oh yeah yeah this one we go that was close do that that was you giv anxiety we’re on we’re on can’t wait she sit down yeah so then we’ve made it finally we’re at the Naro Park Station um there’s a hell of a lot of tourists here already so many yeah it’s going to be it was such a quick Journey though it was a quick Journey so we got the express train so luckily as you saw we just just [ __ ] made it just time that was so honestly stress of you jumping if I gone and you did it I know it nearly took my head off but we’re here we’re just about to get the station now and see there’s Starbucks close by so we’re going to go get Starbucks get coffee first because be hasn’t have one yet so get out baby go I’m very for today yeah um like the definition of hry that’s for coffee and then we’ll uh head to the Deer Park afterwards so we’re right next to Naro Park Naro Park is where you see the deer so yeah coffee then Deer Park good it’s right by the park nice we can see the Starbucks sign there’s only like a 5 minute walk from the station so not too bad at all um apparently there’s a lake around here as well so it’ be nice to go and see that really Pond or something I think it’s Pond okay um yeah oh where did we go then stop I’m there in here is it in there no that says hotel and gallery in there that’s not that one H Starbucks I can see another sign through there maybe I don’t really know actually oh there Starbucks left honestly finding way finding your way around Japan can be really difficult yeah even simple tasks like this even simple Tas here you go there we go Bri are cute oh yeah there’s a pond look just go outside for a second to be fair that is really nice all right coffee time ni sit it what’ you [Music] say you rich big got big 500 got my pennies now you [Music] come there we go thank sh no you’re not didn’t say you could did I every single time is it nice I don’t know why I don’t order it it’s good in it it’s really good dark mock fra CH chick chocolate chick choc chip fra CH chick what have you gone for uh Alon latte you yeah I’ve already said it in one of the other Vlogs but you have to give like a sticker thing that says alond milk which fascinates me it’s actually really nice here is it look at that it’s a hot day today as well haven’t felt this amount of sun in ages we I feel like we’re like in Italy or something and then you see like a Japanese Temple in the background it does feel bit like Italian though if you B down that lane really nice lovely day yeah I think we should probably go be on Google Maps is never a good thing it’s not it’s not no it’s really not girls and directions just don’t go together right that isn’t true st’s actually worse on his Google Maps [ __ ] it am I you are no I’m not yes no I’m not you are no I’m not all right it’s nice around here isn’t it it’s really nice actually it’s still it’s very busy for 10:45 yeah I guess this place is going to be busy all year round it’s such a nice place yeah I see a lot of suitcases as well so it might be a lot of places to stay here look quite big actually um so apparently Nara Park is over 660 Acres which means it’s quite big I’m hoping there’s going to be a lot of deer there so they’re not kind of all crowded in one place with loads of tourists yeah you can find some quiet spots yeah oh my God right then I can see some deer already and yet we haven’t even entered the park um I guess I guess that is an entrance um but we’re going to go left down here because I’m the C my eye I can see people with deer just over here and it looks so many should we cross now actually yeah yeah this looks mental they look so friendly they do don’t they they literally just going up to people snack oh yeah we should have probably bought some snacks really to feed the deers with but they can occasionally attack people please beware all right then let’s go look at these deers look I can see loads oh my God that’s so cool look there’s so many they like little bandies oh my God they get right on the road here obviously wow oh my God there’s so many 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 oh my God there’s so many look at all these that’s [ __ ] crazy oh my God look at that and it bows to you they bow oh my god that actually bows wow isn’t it look bow that is [ __ ] mental isn’t it yeah and they’re wild for you hello oh my God sorry I don’t probably say coffee can’t you that is absolutely mental I want to give it a fuss but hi oh my God that’s so gorgeous they like giant dogs hello hello I can’t believe they bow like they actually fully bow I know how I don’t know how they’ve kind of like done that but that is mental does look a bit ragged and warm this one yeah this one’s B [ __ ] up sad he has just been licking my hands as well I haven’t got any hand on but hello I know you should have that is mental right see you later then looks like a bit of an old granny fo maybe get bullly maybe should you go see some more oh my god look look at all over here this is [ __ ] insane that is mad look at them all see if I want to try and B get B again not do again there we go on one this one just wants food that one bow there you go look yeah that is [ __ ] menil oh you’re a big one you’re a big one that is mad they’re actually fully bowing you’re a big one I mean he does want food he’s like bowing for food but still that is yeah maybe I should B it might get them excited that I’ve got food got for you I’m sorry guys there is some food there I can pick up and to what they what they I don’t know they’re like some sort of crackers or something he must be able to buy them yeah they must be he’s a big boy this one so we’re going to go and see if there’s somewhere you can buy these little small crackers there must be because everyone’s got them so we’re going to go try and find out where you can buy them they must be somewhere everyone has the same kind of round biscuit cracker looking things yeah so we’re going to go try find them and then we can feed him and get some better interactions can’t we well we found our food dealer should we get some I’ve got 200 deer cookies is that what it is is it this for a pack yeah I think so you want one pack uh yeah one would do me you I got thank you no bin anywhere there’s no bins in Japan that’s one thing oh in front of there’s no bins in Japan which I really struggle with yeah that is a one thing walking around with this oh no that’s not good is it how they smell nice oh that’s nice part of the proceeds of these deer crackers are used to protect the deer nice she does something good they I mean no they smell oh go let’s go thank you hello hello you want some more food don’t you I know you do you’ve just had some and you’ve just had some what if they attack they would attack hello hello hello I know you’re bowing now you didn’t bow the refer did you yeah you bow it now hello hello hello no they not interested enough food yeah they they literally weren’t V to me until I was like they just Ed people for food they’re used us aren’t they look at them now oh that’s cute though oh we got another one on this way this is actually mental it this insane yeah they’re honestly they’re so gorgeous they’re nice they’re so friendly I know they say they obviously have an ability to attack but they don’t I haven’t seen it yet there’s so many people here as well you think they’re just scared that one look fast yeah that one was well old is huge that might be like a right all right then should go find some more yeah you’ve got two more thank you very much it’s good that 200 that’s a pound yeah yeah and you actually it’s such a good experience I want to give to a baby bit this is definitely probably one of the best things you can do here in Japan I think 100% definitely I a great day there’s a lot of tourists but it’s not overrun with tourist like you still get enough time like yeah I think this is decent look at them all coming yeah we got food for you you and you we do right then these little ones maybe don’t bow as much though doing can I have half of one please we’re trying to save of these come here then bow good girl there we go there we go W you’re cute aren’t you there we go sorry I have CLE more now oh my God there’s so many that is mental oh no what she doing God Knows Why are you running a scream like that you [ __ ] right that scares me so Beth just got a bum nipped by that big one there she was like feeding this one and then that one came up behind her and just bit her on the ass I don’t know if you can see it yeah you can see look here that patch he’s just niit me good job I’m wearing like a thick jump off Hur and he’s like a big daddy as well scares me oh gorgeous I any more oh my God they’re insane cool aren’t they come here then I think this might be the best experience it’s unreal isn’t it I don’t have any more it’s me it’s just mental how they bow like yeah I’m not I guess they might just have like CH and they kind of bite their own little like fur just to scratch the itch maybe oh he’s just bowing I’m sorry I’ve got no more you can’t not give them some now he’s bad feel bad that is mental though look at theming you buy more I spend so much money buying them food yeah and it I’m assuming it’s ethical I know you probably get people that think it’s not but yeah I really don’t know like how unethical can it be then again you are kind of just feeding them they are relying on you feeding them maybe but I mean it’s no different to the whale sharks in Philippines really it’s not really just different animals in different location um but I mean it is actually I think it’s very similar but you don’t hear people really complain about this do you no not at all but this is sick though it’s unreal right looks like we’ got a garden here the Museum’s Gardens and it’s free of charge apparently so might as well have a look start 11: a.m. how did you thank you can’t be Eng nice to meet [Music] you thank you this is nar’s national museum the Nar National Museum’s Japanese garden M got nice little cherry blossom there not yet fully sprouted but kind of most way there isn’t it really yeah they’re so so late yeah I that’s why I was just talking about that was a nice quick little walk wasn’t it nice little park but I mean only it takes like a 5 minute walk around so there’s not too much going on there really it’s really small where we go this way uh not that way no and back out we go now I’m going to go explore the rest of the park um not entirely sure what’s here but going go have a look because it’s a lovely day thank you right then that’s the Deer Park done we’ve I don’t know how many crackers we’ve handed out to feed de but um we’ve kind of done it now we’ve got the nice video um and now we are now at kofuji Temple okay oh that there is it yeah oh yeah okay we briefly saw this walking past yeah but we were in too much of the rush to go to Deer Park so we kind of skipped this bit but we’re going to have a prop look now you can see got temples littered around here one there t one there orange and green one there and then one at the back as well so there’s a lot here it looks really nice um we’re going to get some food and just Explore More of the area now before we head back to Osaka later so yeah I mean already day been incredible that Deer Park is so much fun definitely do that come here don’t worry about Kyoto cuz that’s way too busy and overp populated but here yeah definitely definitely come here so much fun now Temple time I’m really not entirely sure what people are queing up there for to be honest like not a clue oh it’s by gifts I think [Music] actually is it to do that I’m not n cuz I think you can buy those things on the post this look I don’t really know and there’s she’s got candles there as well so I’m really not too sure but there a Big R qu so what are those they stamps or honestly don’t know I have a look but go closer and have a look [Music] you so we’re just walking through this little like well I wouldn’t call it little actually this big shopping mall on the hunt for a suitable restaurant without a massive queue and rather not McDonald’s to be honest so yeah everything’s quite a little bit more expensive here than it is in Osaka yeah yeah this is yeah like a proper tourist area so the prices are high I want take a picture of what this place was called um it’s called higashi muku shopping street higashi Mushu Mushu I can’t pronounce it yeah I think so oh no Hig hiashi shopping street right okay yeah hiashi yeah as you can tell our pronunciations are terrible here um so I apologies for that really hot on there like mchi making like mchy pounding experiences here they hopefully we can catch one it is in 50 minutes well we just saw one they charged a th000 yen to go and watch someone do the mchi bashing which is just way too much money um I’m not paying 1,000 yen to watch some do it to be honest uh but if we get one for free then I’ll try and have a look yeah I think the one at nakon nakon do I think they have the free be really busy cuz the keyart slide is insane proba not even worth trying to go and look at it cuz it’s could be hell busy I want to cook as well yeah all right I think we found our restaurant of choice I have absolutely no idea what that says but it looks nice and there is a small cube not huge so that’s what we like prices look reasonable as well um so we’re going to queue up it looks like you can get a lunch menu for 9980 Yen honey Plum udon we’ve not had honey Plum boil Japanese must spinach pickles radish three large portion of udon rice what’s udon rice I thought udon was noodles oh yeah well have a look at the menu anyway they normally do like a English on a menu so um yeah I do want to kind of try H PL yeah but I worry that we’re not going to Li I don’t know what you fy with deep Fri tofu UD with mixed vegetable tempo wagy beef Curry udon oh I’m going to get one of those add that for me please small serving large serving um do I go I go large [ __ ] it that’s order so I’m going for the wagy beef udon Curry no okay one large one medium that’s not bad at all 2510 always wanted to try wag here as well so I’ll W this in [Music] oh that looks good where are we going then thank you so then the food has arrived we going for wagu beef curry with Udo noodles and that looks incredible smells so good smells B like a beef stew does oh my goodness my side I’ve got the large portion be’s got the medium you haven’t have these big on noodles here either so this is like one of the meals we really wanted to try yeah it’s funny because we really want to try the wagy beef and we really want to try the W the Udo noodles so it’s like best of both of us here it’s a hot I mean there’s not much really in the size difference by the looks you can’t have a Bigg portion they’re like really thick and soft oh that tastes good that it’s almost like a KATU curry sauce really it’s nice isn’t it I’ll try some of the beef that is incredible it’s like a beef shoe noodles yeah it’s like a Japanese beef stew I’m really scared going to make a m oh that beef’s W nice oh that beef the Waggy beef is incredible yeah that’s really nice [Music] wow you get a little apron here as well I be wearing that is unreal well worth the £6 I just paid and that portion size is absolutely massive as oh my God look at all that wow okay right let’s get into this that was incredible first ever udon based dish went down the storm R your beef as well the beef was really nice um that portion was [ __ ] massive as well uh so yeah I mean I’m still making my way through it Beth is still yeah halfway down hers but it’s all right I love it was really hot actually I bur my mouth about 10 times um and there’s a big que outside which means it’s a popular place I think we just got here at a really good time because we didn’t have to queue at all really maybe like 5 minutes um yeah unreal right then that is uh lunch done and as you pretty much wraps up our time here in Nara so we’re now on the way back to the station where we’ll be getting the train all the way back to Osaka so yeah I mean it’s getting quite late now we’ve had a full day here and it’s been unreal so definitely definitely definitely come here if you’re around the Osaka or Kyoto region um it’s just really fun so enjoyed it a had the best day yeah it’s definitely worth doing if you’re in 100% and the thing is the now the actual park where you do the deers is free like you need to pay for the little cookies everything else feel free of charge definitely get get the cookies yeah definitely get the cookies for sure but now it’s for us time to get the train so thank you very much for watching and we’ll see you in the next
