みなと神戸のランドマーク、ポートタワーを眺めながら、小春日和の中、海岸に向かって散歩しました。
この塔の鼓型の美しい外観は、世界最初の独特のパイプ構造で、「鉄塔の美女」とも称されています。高さは108メートルあり、展望室からは六甲山系の山並み、神戸の街並み、神戸港を360度見渡すことができ、遠くは淡路島、大阪湾、泉州方面までも望むことができます。
3年に渡る改修工事を経て、ポートタワーは、屋上オープンエアー展望デッキや回転するカフェ＆バー、ギャラリーなど新施設を備え、2024年4月26日、ニューアルオープンします。

Kobe Port Tower is a landmark of Minato Kobe.
Its beautiful drum-shaped exterior is the world’s first unique pipe structure, and it is also known as the “Beauty of Steel Towers. At 108 meters high, the observation deck offers a 360-degree view of the Rokko mountain range, the city of Kobe, and the Port of Kobe, as well as a distant view of Awaji Island, Osaka Bay, and the Izumishu area.
After three years of renovation work, the Port Tower will reopen on April 26, 2024 with new facilities including a rooftop open-air observation deck, a rotating cafe and bar, and a gallery.
