inhabited Islands on Okinawa and this is
the island that we are going to today

Japan una your first
impressions it looks industrial
actually it
does and it also looks way beautiful
more modern that I was expecting it to
be I was expecting that it’s going to be
a island like in Thailand Island like in
the Philippines Island like in Cambodia
but this is
not this is what we are seeing
here bridge and there is a higher Bridge
roads also beautiful mountains
Greenery I like it and right now we are
walking to somewhere from where there
starts some kind of road or maybe a
trail or don’t know on the map it’s like
a road but if I’m using navigation the
navigation isn’t taking you to that road
so maybe that’s a trail we want to take
it because it’s also here on this paper

km and this is here I think that’s that
might be the place so we must go there
and we want to take that road because it
leads to some viewing platform mwing

here with the roots that look a lot
like but not on this one a lot like
pineapple but isn’t pineapple because
pineapple doesn’t grow on trees it grows
on the ground I mean this these these

I guess we have come to
the
highest
level you see down there the first
bridge then the second one one and we
are on the
third getting to the top and also
getting to the other side of this
island we’re planning to go to the other
side there’s a beach where you can go
snorkeling swimming swimming
snorkeling and snorkeling
swimming there are two things that we
knew of this island first that it’s
surrounded by water and uh the second
fact that there are
beaches and the third part that it’s in
Japan oh yeah right we knew three things
about this island and then I saw this
wonderful free map I would say map yes
and then at the furry terminal yeah the
furry terminal for free and then we sat
on that Ferry and we checked out
what you can do on this island well okay
I knew a couple of places uh to visit
here uh I
Googled well in the morning I Googled
and then I saw that there are like two
beautiful beaches and then I knew that
we were going there like I said we knew
two things that there is water around
the island this is what I knew and said
that there are also
beaches but then we found the map and
learned some more

not not yet the ferry is at uh Court
yeah there are only two fairies right
now at the season one in the morning and
one in the afternoon is it High season

fairies at the moment uh there is a slow
Ferry going in the morning and then in
the afternoon evening and also faster
for also going in the morning and in the
afternoon there are options but not many
and the ferry was good it was the cheap
and slow Ferry which is I was impressed
it was so good it was really comfortable
well the seats are comfortable the ferry
was clean it was quite modern there were
vending machines toilets toilets with no
on the floor yeah and toilet paper
soap in the bathroom and it’s really
cool I wonder what fast fair is like
this one was 6,000 for2 so it’s like
3,000 yen a person going and coming back
and the other one was maybe 4,000 a
person

many people here
either on the top of the
mountain you can see one 2 3 4 five
concrete buildings here
no I believe you walk
here otherwise how can you get
to this round table

then you sit here

down at the
island we are at the very top this looks
like the highest point oh
no there is a higher
one more thing that you can do here is
sit
here and listen to the metallic sound of
the flag

relaxing I recommend you do this
one if you are short on
time and then here
is the third thing you can do on this
island you can go
up this
mountain climb this rock
and wait you’ll like
it look out
at this
beauty well actually you can watch Wells
well they’re not there
but they sometimes they are somewhere so
on the map it shows that the whale is
there if we look closely we may see it
actually uh whale season was from
January to March I think I don’t
remember but it was in that uh booklet
uh in that uh yeah on that map so I
think it’s finished because now it’s
it’s April well but still they can be in
April they don’t know it’s

Japan Green Fields mountains like this

small Islands most likely you don’t
associate in Japan with small Islands

goats somewhere
there we are 5 m above sea level you see
these signs everywhere

islands of Oka and not
