Not sure where to go in Kumamoto?

I highly recommend you to check out spots below if you love beautfiul gardens, architecture, and/or history:

πŸ“ Kumamoto Castle η†Šζœ¬εŸŽ @kumamoto_castle🏯: Kumamoto Castle has over 400 years’ of history! Damage of this castle is sustained by the earthquake in1889, and unfortunately, another one in 2016, hence, it’s currently still going through restoration work

πŸ“ Suizenji Jojuen Garden ζ°΄ε‰ε―ΊζˆθΆ£εœ’πŸŒ²: a stroll garden set around a pond fed by springs from Mount Aso. Construction of the garden began in 1636 as a tea retreat. There is in fact a teahouse there in a historical building where they serve Matcha tea set with sweet (550-650 yen) with an open view to the beautiful garden!
