Today we visit Osaka, Japan. This incredible city in the heart of Japan quickly became the most interesting and maybe even the most fun part of our Japanese trip. We spend the day exploring the city of Osaka and the best things to do there. Osaka is the capital of and most populous city in Osaka Prefecture, and the third-most populous city in Japan, following the special wards of Tokyo and Yokohama. Osaka is a large port city and commercial centre on the Japanese island of Honshu. It’s known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food.

[Music] so good morning everyone and welcome 
to Osaka here in Japan so we finally got to  
Osaka after a few Incredible Days in Kyoto um and 
this is our last stop in Japan before we leave for  
South Korea but we’ve got the next few days here 
and we’re going to explore the entirety of Osaka  
get a really good feel for for I’ve been really 
excited because Osaka’s been so high on my list  
for so long now um we’re starting the day off 
by getting some tiramasu matcha dessert which  
is like viral on social media at matcha maah 
house maah house I think so that’s in a nber  
area of Osaka so we’ve got about an hour’s walk 
um we could get a train and get earlier but it’s  
a lovely day and we want to see more of aaka get 
a really good feel for the place so yeah after  
that we’ll go to the castle um and just Explore 
More of Osaka and the top things to do here so  
exited yeah oh there’s another 7-Eleven there 
it’s meant to have the Clos the 7-Eleven are  
we’ve just been to one just there in the corner 
and there’s another one here and then there’s a  
big life supermarket in the middle so wherever 
you go like you’re always within like 50 m of  
a 7even yeah it is isn’t it there anyway right 
then 1 hours walk to matcha house in Amber let’s
go so we’ve got around 16 minutes left um 
it’s taken for a ages basically we’ve been  
walking down this straight road for I think 
it was like 45 minutes Al together um so we  
got like 50 minutes 60 minutes left and then 
we’ll get there we are expecting a bit of a  
queue now this place I think is a chain I think 
it’s a chain they’ve got restaurants in Kyoto  
and Tokyo yeah so we’re not sure if there’s 
going to be a queue it was obviously like a  
viral sensation this like match our tiu that 
comes in like a square rate you might know what  
we’re talking talking about so hopefully no qu 
but we is coming up to lunch time yeah so what  
time is it actually it’s a good question to ask 
it is uh 12:08 12:08 so yeah pretty much bang on  
lunch time we’ll get there at 12:24 um I hope 
there’s no Cube the F it’s with Japan like you  
queue for every anything that’s good you Quee 
for which I don’t like patience yeah I really  
don’t like it but it’s what they do here so um 
get this how come we cool so hopefully there’s  
no Cube but I am expecting maybe a little bit 
of C but I guess I haven’t had a coffee this  
morning yet either so oh yeah I know struggling 
struggling a bit today all right let’s uh get our
way right then so a mass of L is here it should 
be here but we can’t yet see it which isn’t the  
best sign um this one no so it’s not that got 
bubble tea that looks really nice though I do  
want to go in there platinum doll Noone that bit 
further it says it says it’s here okay B B20 so  
there is actually a Subway here if you can see 
the sign there um and down there there’s loads  
of restaurants shops cafes and stuff so it might 
be the case it’s actually down there see says on  
the address the walk down there right well I don’t 
have a clue then to run It’s Entertainment where  
the [ __ ] I think we have to go downstairs look 
shops and restaurants yeah it’s not along the side  
here it’s supposed to be so yeah maybe let’s go 
down this is so confusing or should we have a  
look around there first that that looks B like an 
edible street street again can’t see it yet though
no okay so it looks like it looks like it’s fully 
under the yeah it does look like it’s down here I  
mean we should have just Che the photos start 
to but uh right then so welcome to number walk  
shopping and eating let’s go and try and find our 
uh restaurant to St oh oh my God electric shop you  
get these everywhere in yeah right then St look 
at that match a house and barely a cute I can  
see loads of tables free un real so this is there 
we go oh I want to get the most one look at that  
I’ll get one you get the other if you want it’s 
here in the sea so these are what we’re going for
one of each yeah look at that

Machel lato brown sugar syrup mental  
these look insane ah look so here 
you go these are what they look
like they’re actually so dinky but 
they look amazing on like viral
videos here how many people uh just two please oh 
here you go yeah ah can we have one of each please
yeah okay I got a 1,628 Yen that’s not bad is 
it really so that’s uh5 what is it 1,6 have a  
look £ each that was actually really quick wasn’t 
it oh my God look at that look how much it wobble  
I know oh my God I could not it so cool all 
right we’re going for the roasted green tea T
first oh look at that oh my goodness 
look at that that’s going to go
everywhere is it good oh my that’s really good 
is it nice is it that cream is absolutely unreal  
oh my God it’s like so thick but like fluffy 
and creamy at the same time yeah that looks  
unreal oh my God 10 out 10 oh it doesn’t wobble 
as much as the other one that looks incredible  
going to go in for another taste test I haven’t 
yet taste any so I’ll do those in a second it’s  
all right you go first but that look how creamy 
that is I’m jealous that one is so good I feel  
like this one won’t live up to the height M 
we’re going to do a little video of breaking  
fny oh is it going to be funny is it yeah sorry 
I’m trying to get the this is going to be post  
on best Tik toks and Instagrams by the way so 
uh follow those if you can there we go look at
that yeah that one’s not as creamy 
as this one that one’s more like um  
hot like a more formed yeah 
that one was a bit sloppier

throat as it look at your teeth oh my
that matcha oh God she’s choking 
is that matcha powder so smile
teeth that match powder when you eat it 
it’s like that cinnamon challenge yeah oh  
God it’s gone wrong it’s all G wrong try that 
that powder hits straight the back of your fo  
really nice though is it all right then oh 
my God I’ll give both these right then I’ll  
go for this tiu one first tiu is like one of 
my both T that one that one’s roasted green  
tea and that one’s match T so they’re 
both T oh yeah look at that yeah that’s
insane what was that noise likeed to keep it in  
but what was that noise like is it 
that hit the back of your throat so  
oh look at the bottom at the bottom wait do you 
have that one no at the bottom you got the foam  
me two rubit yeah yeah yeah I know I had that 
in mind that is unreal that’s actually really  
nice I a big fan of that be careful this one 
the powder was hit the right the back of your
Thro go for the powder bit go on go
on good green I don’t know which one look not 
that they’re both actually great they’re both  
really good thing is I don’t normally like 
matching flavor stuff but that’s surprised  
me that’s really good it’s just a shame that 
it goes down your throat yeah that powder is  
literally so I don’t the layer of powder it just 
hits right back of your Thro yeah so if you’re  
in Osaka Kyoto or Tokyo definitely come to match 
house and definitely try these because they are
insane so next stop trying find uh some like 
Pokémon toys like a Pikachu teddy because I  
feel like you can’t leave Japan without one 
of these um and I’ve been trying to find one  
for ever since I got to Japan I haven’t yet 
actually found a good like a decent one so  
I feel like we’re in a good area for it we’re 
going to walk towards some like toy store now  
I mean this whole area looks it’s a lot different 
than Tokyo really different you got so many game  
stations and all that kind of stuff here um like 
it’s like a lot younger Vibe here which is quite  
cool but yeah where how far away we going right 
here right in the corner over there somewhere  
May okay City main building going to see and 
what store we going to Toys R Us Toys R Us  
surely there got to be Pikachu Tedd there surely 
see find right by Tower are we Tower know what
is so then in this mall we’re in the nber Park 
Mall I think um there is a Toys R Us as you can  
see hopefully Toys R R Us would do a poke on 
Pikachu teddy if he doesn’t I’ll be surprised  
uh we did walk past him on the way here so worse 
comes to worse we can leave Toys R Us and go back  
out there but hopefully they will won’t they 
yeah I think they should do they came up with  
we kind of searched hope our toys online so 
I haven’t actually been to Toys R Us since I  
was about maybe maybe I don’t know 15 maybe even 
earlier maybe even younger than that at five yeah  
to be fair maybe like 10 actually yeah maybe 10 
so well you play games more than I do while over  
like nearly two decades ago which is crazy oh got 
Lego oh they have Lego that’s great oh yeah they  
got loads they got loads of Pokémon toys this 
is dangerous for Dan yeah this is dangerous  
for Dan all right then let’s go and find our 
Pokemon oh those little kind of ones all right  
then so yeah here oh yeah they quite they’re 
not very in that cute no they’re not yeah so  
like I said we did walk past a shop on the way 
that had some be I’m s and it actually turns  
out that these ones aren’t that nice I want this 
so bad yeah I thought these ones would be quite  
cool but it turns out they’re really actually 
not um this one’s quite cool how much is this
looks like we’re going to have to go 
back to the shop we walk past to be  
honest because these ones are really 
actually disappointing this R is quite  
cool uh yeah not great um Toys R Us you have 
actually fully disappointed me not going to
lie well right we are back back in business back 
in the area that we’re going to go for originally  
and here we go look at that 8,800 that’s a lot 
of money that they’re not money I know they’re  
so expensive here I I can understand why because 
we’re in Japan but what you want see how much  
they are in Pokémon oh there bit further away 
from so there is actually Pokémon still here um  
but it’s like how long is it away about an hour 
walk an hour’s walk um You’ got time though but  
then you risk not getting it here yeah it’s fine 
I’ve got it here yeah now I’m just going to pick  
which one cuz there is actually a lot of choice 
here um I do quite like this blast oer but then  
I don’t really know but then I do kind of like 
this this is a bloody good present and it the  
only issue with that is where how we’re going 
to travel with it yes well we’ll have to find  
that out as we go along but I feel like this is 
the present is that the one this is the one it’s  
big enough look at the size of that compar to 
your fat head right that’s it let’s go and get  
it yeah right Pikachu secured so it came to of £ 
4,000 Yen which is about £20 so little bit more  
than I’d pay normally but it is for a present so 
yeah I mean happy with that wanted one for a while  
and I don’t think we got to get cheaper than that 
like being in Japan and these whole Pikachu toys  
just going to expensive they’re so expensive 
everywhere else with been that’s kind of the  
cheapest one for that size and realistically 
it’s quite a big teddy for only2 it’s not too  
bad really um same as what you pay in England so 
yeah not too bad not too bad what floor going to
b2f now we’re going to head to a place called kou 
Park which is like a small Park in the middle of  
Osaka and it’s got some shrines and temples 
in there as well and we’ve heard that it’s  
actually one of the best place to see some cherry 
blossoms here purely for the fact that not all of  
them have fully blossomed yet so we’re going to 
go there check it out um and yes see some Osaka  
cherry blossoms and some shrines should be good 
it’s in quite a residential area by the look as  
well so probably a bit more off the beaten 
tourist track hopefully I mean we found this  
place through some digging it wasn’t like an 
obvious place to go on the whole like typical  
intinerary so hopefully we found a little gem that 
not many people know about um and if you have then  
definitely come here yourselves but I think it’s 
just down there so hopefully seen lots of TRS
hopefully finally finally finally finally finally 
finally we’ve got some cherry blossoms they’re so  
pretty these are like fully blo as well these 
ones so these ones are a bit like paler they’re  
a bit like whiter than normal don’t mind but you 
got a pink one over there some white ones more  
white ones new little pink one down there 
as well this whole so many yeah this whole  
Park’s full of them I me you can’t see I’m not 
sure how well the camera is picking up because  
the sun um s the cloud is really gray and cloudy 
so that kind of does interfere with how visible  
these white leaves are but I mean it’s still 
really nice oh it’s so pretty it’s is so cool  
it looks like like snowy trees they’re sick oh 
it’s so nice like a nice little Japanese oh yeah  
look at that the typical little bridge and then 
the stones yeah that’s [ __ ] mental isn’t this  
such a nice part yeah unreal so if you’ve been 
following our Japanese series we’ve kind of like  
missed the Cherry bossoms everywhere we get so we 
a little bit too early in Tokyo a little bit too  
early in Kyoto so now we’re finally getting and it 
feels incredible like finally the thing is like we  
timed it to come to Japan during cherry blossom 
so we would have like been gutted had we have not  
seen them whilst we’re here so it’s good isn’t it 
so nice it’s nice to just sit down and take it in  
for a minute isn’t it it’s so pretty so many like 
different color pinks like different shades of  
pink mhm this is like the most we’ve seen them 
Bloom as well yeah is it is unreal I’d really  
hope the cameras do the Justice because I don’t 
think they do at all not as many of you know we  
are currently traveling fulltime and lucky enough 
to experience some amazing places like Japan whil  
on our travels we have met some amazing people 
who we now call friends who shared their stories  
with us some are traveling through inheritance 
from a loved one others have come traveling to  
find themselves and others are simply trying 
to overcome depression while all these reasons  
are very meaningful and valid they do share one 
common theme which often goes unspoken and that’s  
is loneliness when you’re on the road living 
out of backpacks away from friends and family  
and anything familiar it can be so easy to feel 
overwhelmed and lost you may be surrounded by  
the most incredible sites and experiences but

we’re actually staying quite close to Osaka  
Castle so it’s a nice convenient little walk for 
us um now I believe that the school holidays are  
on and it’s so busy yeah like there’s locals and 
kids and stuff everywhere like it’s really busy  
so I’m expecting that’re probably going to have 
to wait at least 45 minutes to get into the cast  
um it’s only 600 gen which is not bad at all and 
yeah I mean whilst in Osaka you got to visit the  
castle cuz it looks insane so nice so so busy 
so we are expecting a fat que yeah haven’t  
obviously seen it just yet but oh yeah there it 
is over there um now you can go up the Tower or  
the castle and look out so uh hopefully we can do 
that but okay then so we are now walking through  
the grounds and as you can see we have the castle 
in the back it looks to be fair it’s not as big  
as like the castle as we have in England it’s not 
that big I bigger it does look really nice like  
the whole white duck egg blue gold like it is yeah 
so nice to make it look really like Royal yeah our  
cast are home are kind of a bit more Gothic more 
C feel like more like brick brick stone this is  
like nice I mean it looks like it could have been 
built a couple of years ago Temple SL Castle is it  
it’s like a temple Vibe yeah it’s a lot different 
to the cast we have at home but it’s cool I and  
the tree in front of it and the tree oh yeah that 
does look cool oh yeah wow I guess this okay so at  
least we’re not waiting an hour yeah cuz this is 
from an hour yeah so this is this hour mark here  
this little hole and we’re going to go there 
so maybe 45 minutes yeah that’s not bad it’s  
not too bad I mean yeah we can’t knock come so 
that’s a wait I suppose join this wish us luck  
I’m going insane okay ticket 
secured we’re now going to try  
and go for the entrance all yeah he’s 
not really checking them either to be
honest got that was easy just to reference that 
is the queue so we just stopped uh skipped All  
of That So Def here they go oh no yeah right 
then so we’ve made it to eth floor and eighth  
floor is where you get the view outside of the 
castle so let’s go which side you want to go  
there space space Oh yeah it’s very busy
here it’s pretty mental view 
to be fair is it look at that  
so nice the grounds are actually huge aren’t
they where cut whereabouts we are we towards 
the back I’m not sure yeah maybe I’m really  
not sure what kind of oh look gold ship down 
there the water it’s mental the Mo’s huge is  
it I always find Castle so impressive I agree 
be so much better if all the uh CH BL were out  
wouldn’t it what’s everyone cling for warmer 
you nice if it sunny as well yeah really nice
though worth doing for sake of £350 £325 it’s 
not bad at all is it that’s insane and you can  
also get stamp here stamp though yeah cuz we 
didn’t and we regret it yeah but the views  
you get are pretty mental views of oaka pretty 
lovely many buildings isn’t it it’s crazy how  
you’ve got like big castle here in like really 
traditional grounds but then you look ahead  
and you’ve got like skyrise office building 
like such Contra yeah yeah everything’s so  
modern out there and you got all the tradition 
stuff it’s like you’re looking to the Future  
yeah it’s so weird you’re quite high up here 
we are quite high up yeah look down there
[Music] it now this place is actually really 
cool like I’m not entirely sure where are we  
it reminds me of bit of Shinjuku yeah like 
have that same oh that big crab as well  
that big billboard up there oh my God like shin 
Sai Bashi suji down there like a big Market thing  
maybe we’re right by Eis eish Shashi Bridge 
Okay and we’re right by the G sign if we walk  
over I think there’s a river there oh yeah 
oh this where’s the gly sign then what am I  
looking for uh I’m not entirely sure GCO sign or 
whatever so we’re just basically walking through  
the center and we’re going to like Geo area and 
we’ve just come across this and it looks really  
cool like that kind of feels like a back in Tokyo 
a little bit actually it might have some oh yeah  
look oh my God look at that is that a [Music] 
ride all right then let’s have a look down [Music]

I don’t know where I aming there’s so many 
oh that’s the GL sign there I can’t see cuz  
Sun that running man thing on the left 
oh right okay I can’t see this beating  
down in my eyes this place is sick around here 
it’s basically like a cooler trendier version  
of Tokyo I think you the hell they got what do 
you think it is I don’t know it’s like a famous  
sign GCO oh yeah okay oh my God that is sick 
to be fair what of you right I think it’s to  
be really nice at night oh yeah it’s supposed 
to be really nice at night here every like s  
and it’s 6 so we’ll probably kind of stay for 
Sundown see what it’s like but this is sick
though that’s an Kan song is it yeah right so 
we decided that apparently this place looks  
10 times better at night so um Sun is going 
down shortly slowly so yeah so maybe 6 half  
6 Sundown will be um and hopefully then this will 
all light up and we’ll show you exactly what this  
looks like at night um because apparently it’s 
on the main thing to do here and it is pretty  
cool to be an hour an hour an hour to kill 
cool right then what do we do for an hour  
that is a question with money right then it’s 
now night time Sun’s gone down it’s probably  
7 p.m. 8:00 um it’s pretty much pitched 
black outside and we’re just going back  
to where we were earlier and oh my 
god look how many people there are
busy this [ __ ] is mad people yeah this is 
like really really [ __ ] busy on that bridge  
over there I mean it does look really cool 
but oh my God how busy is it so cool we’re
try honestly trying to get a way like out the way 
of people is just mad here oh my God look at this

I mean it is super super cool but Jesus
Christ wow look at that that is mental
right then I guess uh that kind of now finishes 
off our day here in Osaka uh I thoroughly enjoyed  
it Osaka is weird but it’s wonderful at the 
same time like yeah very similar to Tokyo but  
also like just a bit more of a chilled Cool vibe 
I think to suaka yeah I agree I agree um yeah I
