hi I’m Stu and I just arrived in China
where I’m starting my 2E Asia trip we’re
about to head to our very first theme
part which is Happy

Valley hello welcome to a new video
we’re going to go and try and visit
Happy Valley now Happy Valley is a park
where I’ve watched a few YouTube videos
on it most of most mostly the theme par
worldwide one where they had
questionable day there it was a dreadful
day it was one of their best ever videos
I I feel cuz it was very funny but for
all the wrong reasons sadly cuz the park
was just rubbish however I want to go
and see it for myself so that’s what
we’re going to try and do today is the
day that I’ve just got here hence the
the look that we’re going for it’s now
half1 the park is meant to open till
6:00 but if you’ve watched other videos
you’ll know they just kind of make up as
they go along it’s going to take about 2
hours to get there probably all in so
we’ll see how that happens and if that
happens I’m Vaguely Familiar with how to
pay for stuff now in China I’m Vaguely
Familiar with the the Metro systems and
stuff and how they work so let’s go and
give it to go it’s my hotel the door to
Shanghai I can’t tell you how hot it is
in that hotel room it is so
warm the sun is Lally coming directly
into it the minute so I’m hopeing later
on it all cool down out here it’s like
literally a golden temp I’ve brought the
coat Motors has got massive zip up
pockets and put the GoPro and stuff in
there um also get cold later and later
I’m going want to go to the
kind of the main area see across the
river is it television Tower can’t
remember Shanghai Tower can’t remember
so apparently just around the corner is
a metro stop which is one of the reasons
why I picked this
hotel and get everywhere pretty
quickly oh it’s literally
here M
to I think there’s the first and last
trains as
well I’ve actually changed the pH on my
videos recently I normally just just
literally start the day at the park
there’s obviously people tuning in for
the park however these ones over here if
you’re British you want to know how to
get to the park that might be a little
bit more helpful guys so first of all
we’re going to try and get a ticket I
think I know roughly we’re I’m going
just looked on the map it’s actually
pretty easy to work out see we’re here
we’re going
to dong Jing that one is that zone 7 is
that how they class
it where is Century Park of the minute
is is Century Avenue is it this one
number three it only goes up to 9 on the
on the board does that mean what the
fair
is should just press it we see where we
get so it should be I think it should be
seven we go out to number seven okay so
it’s line nine I just press line nine

seven the is it just a cost then
brilliant so I can’t show you this
because it’s actually on my phone but
I’m going to use this Ali alipay one so
it’s going to give me a QR code I’m
going to scan that on my phone now on
the app the alipay app and there you go
print off the
ticket so I’m on this one for two stops
going to Sentry
Avenue from Sentry park I’m going to
swap over to that line
nine love this just love
this pricewise and simplicity wise
having the number and that’s just the
price is a
dream I thought it be really hard to
understand but it really was obviously a
house for in English but prob be more
confusing with Affairs and everything
else what you needed now click on your
station there’s the
price looks like I just missed the one
on the
left
oh it’s going from the right which

I think there’s a lot more stops on
it feel waiting to get
on no that’s
annoying okay that’s our train that was
just on four stops
away and we all about to get off I’m not
really sure
why but all people are waiting here to
say they’re going to get the next one
maybe that one just that’s as far as

went that’s like a busier area if that
Mak sense it’s more Regional
maybe I can just about say a dive
coaster you see
it can’t see it
operating I can see a pagod type ride
going
there but that is
it so we’ll have a nice ride on the
observation
deck we’re
out right couple of things one only
about minute
walk uh at a reasonable Pace from here I
could get I could see any taxes I’m sure
the
uh might be a bus that goes from the
station it makes sense it’s not fat F
but it’s far
enough second
thing I’ll let you down a little
bit I forgot the memory card for the
GoPro I’m a little bit annoyed about it
cuz it’s been a good few minutes start
all that out but my memory carard is
still in the
laptop so that’s
annoying and three it’s
roasted the coat and the massive gloves
not required maximum of five km an hour
down this road or miles per hour I don’t
know and also no trumpet
playing I keep think I can hear rides
going around but it’s not it’s it’s
ples
if it is open it’s the quietest theme
park I’ve ever seen or heard I am fast
becoming to the belief this park is not
open everyone online says it’s open
today but that means obviously that
means nothing B some cars coming down
there’s not very many that’s a very very
quiet day I don’t know if they have
anything else here I think they have a
shopping Village here and all other the
bits like that maybe I’m going to see if
they’ll
just let me buy a ticket there somewhere
like a social Guest Services
counter but if not I’ll
uh I’ll try and do it online I think it
is just a very quiet day but tell that
when only two rides are open itly
becomes a very busy day doesn’t it this
is the most surreal thing
now being outside the theme par
worldwide when they came
here what was that 2017
18ish and then we had Co so I watch you
you watch all the videos again you you f
the time I just didn’t think it’d be i’
ever get to that alone oh I didn’t real
it the first Park of the trip nothing’s
going the SNS shot Towers I ain’t seen
them going not seen anything going so
let’s just see what happens here cuz the
park is pretty big and there’s quite a
lot here oh you can’t see that cuz it’s
a screen but all the rides close at 5:
on here again that’s a new time not seen
anywhere 10:30 some to like half 8 with
1.2 M height restriction the rides all
over the place
yeah I don’t know why I’m showing it on
the screen you can’t see it got me
ticket 260 I just paid cash they very
too Fair actually the other guy spoke
decent English he knew what the words in
English were for like 261 person type
stuff uh the other girl on there just
started giggling and didn’t know what to
say uh so we’re going to go in and let’s
see what
