Santa Santa LOL liima I’m sure that’s
not exactly how you pronounce it but
it’s close but we’re going to hike up
this mountain
and Mount Fuji is behind us hopefully
we’ll get a good shot of
it nestled among the base of the
mountains in the Mano sishi prefecture
is a Charming Village called Santa nimba
also known as the healing
Village this community is comprised of
about 20 traditionally thatched roof
houses that depict the oldtime scenery
of the showa period which is between 19
26 and

1989 we missed the peak of the uh cherry
blossom bloom uh but there was still
enough left to uh to really make it
pretty I imagine at its peak it’s
absolutely
gorgeous this uh Village is on the side
of a former farming
Village and the village was destroyed by
a Landslide during the typhoon in
1966 40 years later the village
traditional that roof houses were
reconstructed and reopened as an open
air museum and traditional Craft Village
where people can learn about the culture
and try out and purchase a few different
local
handycrafts this is the entrance to a
Shinto Shrine that was on the
property we were still able to get some
really nice photos of Mount Fuji along
with some cherry

blossoms a little further down the road
we stopped by the side of this Lake
which has some beautiful gardens uh
planted on the shore and as we walked
along we got some uh beautiful SE of
Mount
Fuji and judging from the number of uh
people that were there this a very
popular spot for not only tourists but
the the Japanese as well to come and
take pictures
