Riding Japan’s Most Uncomfortable but Mysterious Escalator at Retro Amusement Park on Mountain🚡

I visited a retro amusement park located on a mountain in Hyogo Prefecture.
I enjoyed what’s said to be Japan’s most uncomfortable ride, a revolving restaurant, and retro games.

Prices are at time of shooting.

  1. Serious question! Does it ever get warm enough in Japan to go swimming in the ocean? I used to live in North-east coast of the US and never once remember the water being warm enough for a comfortable swim. How does swim season go in Japan?

  2. Thank you .The weather was beautiful up to 80 degrees just a warm inviting lovely atmosphere just a great way to celebrate Easter. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  3. The pedal monorail was awesome! I'm sure it was tiring haha.
The little Baseball game was cool too! I never played anything like that in arcades in the USA. Thanks for sharing

  4. We had a revolving restaurant that was very fancy back in the 80s and early 90s in a high rise building in my city of Rochester NY!!! Unfortunately it closed years ago and never reopened as anything else. Also that hotdog looked AMAZING! You can tell the Japanese really take pride in their businesses and jobs which is something you don’t see in America so much anymore which is why things always close and reopen as something else every few years. I also noticed at the end during the carlator ride they were playing Suwannee river in the background!!!! Amazing! This park was so awesome they should never change a thing so nostalgic!

  5. 17:44 In Germany, some television towers have a rotating restaurant, e.g. the television tower in Berlin or the Rhine Tower in Düsseldorf.

  6. Wow look at that view 🙀 everyone seems to enjoy the shaky ride music very soothing , games were fun😁 I can see the moving when you are eating why is the soda green🤔 best day ever thank you 🥰😘

  7. Also, another question – does Japan still require masks? I see so many people wearing masks in your videos, I’m confused. We have barely any people still believing in that nonsense & wearing them. (Some women wear them to hide the fact that they have little to no makeup on 😂)

  8. We have a rotating restaurant too, but it is on top of a Hotel in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, USA. There are so many beautiful places to see in Japan. Thank you for showing them to us.

  9. Thank you so much for the experience! What a lovely way to spend my lunch break on a mini "vacation". I loved the retro nostalgic feel. When I was a child I went to a rotating restaurant in Vancouver BC Canada!

  10. This was the most American experience I’ve ever seen. Which is sad to say because this was the cheapest looking thing you have done. 😅

  11. Well I very COMFORTABLE watching this video. Thank you for sharing your fun day. 🙂 p.s. don't mind the nitpicker…we all have a typo in our lives at one time or another…or lots in mine 😂😂

  12. That was the most fun and unique amusement park I have ever seen! Thank you for showing us this wonderful nostalgic place. I had fun watching 🌞😄😄

  13. I live in San Antonio, Texas where we have the Tower of Americus. At the top of the tower, there is a rotating restaurant and the lower floor is an observation deck. I've been there once and want to go back. The park in Kobe looks fun to go to, I would want to try all the rides too and the food at the restaurant. Thank-you for the bringing us along for your trips.

  14. These nostalgic slash retro amusement parks are just awesome. Definitely the things i'd visit once i would come to Japan. Thank you once again for such an awesome video. There is something about your style of making videos which i thoroughly enjoy. Godspeed to you and i can't wait for the next one 🙂

  15. Hi, at first we ( my husband and I) love and enjoy your channel. Yes we have in Austria – Vienna a rotating restaurant on the Danubetower 150 meters high. 360 degrees. And at 165 there is a short slide on the tower. Nice greatings from vienna 🇦🇹

  16. Hyogo is one of my favorite places in Japan. The people are wonderful there and the prefecture is beautiful. I love Kansai. Its the best part of Japan in my opinion.

  17. Retro music was amazing and that baseball game smile on his face 😂😂 and surely he needs to lose some weight 😂. These games sure are addictive like you can play all day until you win

  18. We like things under their superficial forms than their original form. We need a big amusement park instead to just go in nature.it asked to destroy nature's territory to create this amusement park just that we could have few time of fun. We don't know anymore to appreciate the authentic and simple form of things. We need games, restaurants, we need "cute things". We don't go in places for humans or nature, we go to take sensational trains, sleep in sensational hotels, test some vendor machine. We need sensational and sensations, while to just sit down in the forest bring a lot of sensation that are REALLY authentic, that connect the soul. Here, we just fill ourself with superficial things. We replace our natural sensations with superficial artifices. It's like kids that want console videos games to enjoy life and don't know anymore to play in nature.

  19. that crab whack is giving up, hope they repair it soon. I surprised in the middle of Japan's weird futuristic yet weird tech, there's still places that preserve the old times

  20. The miniatures were so cute!! I can't help but think that this place is what Lord Farquaad wanted Duloc to be!!

  21. That was very fun! A great variety of things to do and see! In Boston, there was a famous restaurant called Top of the Hub on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center (the tallest building until they built the John Hancock tower). Needless to say, on a clear day, the view was incredible. It closed in 2020, but for decades, it was THE special place restaurant. There are other rotating restaurants, but…none so grand.

I think I watch too many action movies…that music made me think a fight was about to break out, ala John Wick! Hahaha! Glad that didn't happen….

Thank you again for another very interesting and informative video! Until next time, be well and happy!

  22. Thank you for the fun video! The Space Needle's restaurant, in Seattle, Wash., also rotates 360 degrees (which was also built in 1962!). This park looks more peaceful and relaxing! Always enjoying your videos! Thank you, again!

  23. seeing you having fun with your trip makes me so happy and reminds me to go travelling more often to see things the world can offer, arigato for your videos 🙂

  24. Wow, those beautiful views of the ocean and the city would make me forget my fear of heights 🫣🤭
