In today’s travel blog, we delve into our enchanting Yufuin adventure. beginning with a scenic ride aboard the Yufuin No Mori, a mesmerizing sightseeing train journeying from Hakata to Yufuin.

Arriving at Yufuin station, our exploration commenced with an unexpected delight—a Rickshaw ride. Our Rickshaw guide painted the journey to the lake with tales of dragons and bestowed upon us our first rickshaw sticker, initiating our quest to collect all four, each representing a different season—an exciting addition to our bucket list!

Although our planned lakeside cafe (Cafe La Ruche) for lunch was closed, the beauty of the Kinrin lake gifted us with a stunning photo opportunity, making the moment memorable despite the change in plans.

Our next stop led us to the charming Yufuin Floral Village, a haven evoking nostalgic Ghibli tale vibes, reminiscent of childhood dreams brought to life.

Strolling back to Yufuin station, our taste buds were treated to a feast of delectable street food at Yunotsubo Kaido. From the renowned beef croquettes to savory chicken karaage and sweet mochi, each bite was a culinary delight.

As we bid farewell to Yufuin, a place brimming with tranquility and hidden wonders, our hearts were filled with cherished memories from this short yet unforgettable day trip from Fukuoka.
