She addressed it during her zatsudan earlier

Amamiya: "Ah also! Some people seem to be worried about what happened with my moderator, it's been long resolved already, so I'm not sure what everyone's still saying… please stop worrying! ok, bye bye!"

She was talking about the same moderator mentioned on this article who was trending last week

Meanwhile he tweeted this out earlier https://twitter.com/ASHIKI_games/status/1775379594293747736

As a moderator and a person involved with Nijisanji, I try to make responsible statements. then some weirdo shit about kuzuha turning into a woman

tl;dr she hasn't done shit to condone it and that guy is still clearly taking the piss.

So they just ignored it and hope people stop talking about it. Well I mean that’s not the worst strategy from their perspective.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more blatant lie. That’s the kind of lie you see in cartoons.

Though honestly…going after Suisei? SUISEI? That’s ballsy. There’s tons of videos documenting her journey from being a nobody to the shining star, Diamond-in-the-rough girl we see today. To slander her takes more guts than what the human body is able to physically contain.

Started out thinking “Ok, no way that’s a direct quote.” Went and checked the VOD, and, well, I don’t speak japanese, but the flow, cadence and length fit, and certain terms such as “moderator” and “byebye” match up, not to mention the pause.

    Holy fuck.

I mean, how tonedeaf do you have to be? It would be one thing not to talk about it – he’s just a mod, not really her responsebility. Another to condemn it – would be nice, and show some of that cross company support against slander and hate Niji and Holo promised each other.

But this? This is the closest thing to supporting it without actually doing so.

  4. You might say her way of addressing the issue was negligible.

Did they bot that tweet? Over 5k likes and 2 replies?

I’m afraid there’s no concrete evidence.

His statement about Suisei could be interpreted as saying that he simply doesn’t like seeing collabs in im@s. I’ve seen this kind of disdain toward collabs in gacha games before. Some of JP don’t like it when the game loses its originality.

Still dunno why would you Slander her at when shes clearly at truly rising to Superstar status like I can somewhat understand if you slandered her at a time where she was in a rough patch (cuz some people are just assholes like that) but doing at the point where shes starting to break into Superstardom? Thats like shit talking then asking a Prime Kobe Bryant to a damn 1 on 1

Does it have something to do with Japanese defamation laws?

in case anyone is curious about the statement in full:

“As a moderator of Nijisanji, a person connected to [the company], I try to make statements with a sense of responsibility, but… This recent turning into a woman [April Fool’s, I think, because a lot of Niji JP/EN did that] incident… when Kuzuha said “I still wear boxers as underwear” and Kou and Ririmu said “well, that’s sexy in its own way…” and Kuzuha just could not understand, and they tried to explain… but he just got flustered and still didn’t get it, getting all worked up… That scene was seriously too funny.”

even after tling this i don’t really get what this has to do with mod work, since i wouldn’t think they expected someone to be so impartial that you couldn’t make positive comments… 🤨

interesting to me is that the other tweets they linked with him apologizing about the commentary video thing in that article?? he has a looot of responses from folks in jp that are not forgiving him for the behavior. i’m a little surprised he’s still around as a moderator given that, but lol.
