Japanese Hot Springs Travel Arima Onsen Part 1 Hello, Sun Couple’s World Travel Today is our trip to Japan. Of the approximately 3,100 hot springs in Japan, which one is considered the best? 1. Gunma Prefecture – Kusatsu Kusatsu Hot Springs 2. Hyogo Prefecture – Arima Arima Hot Springs

3. Gifu Prefecture – Gero Hot Springs One of Japan’s three famous springs Arima Onsen Gero Onsen Kusatsu Hot Springs 1. Matsuyama – Dogo Dogo Hot Springs 2. Wakayama – Shirahama Shirahama Hot Springs 3. Hyogo Prefecture -Arima Onsen

This time, I visited Arima Onsen, which is one of the three famous hot springs in Japan, Dogo Onsen, Shirahama Onsen, and Arima Onsen, and is also one of the top three hot springs. Today, I will tell you about my visit to Arima Onsen.

Arima Onsen is one of the three hot springs. The video is uploaded in parts. The first part introduces the entire Arima Onsen, tourist points, restaurants, and famous souvenirs, the second part shows the Kirari Hotel, which is famous for its day-use hot springs and has gold and silver baths, and the

Third part introduces the luxury ryokan Gekkoen. Let me show you my experience of staying here. Part 1 of our trip to Arima Hot Springs begins. Among the three famous hot springs, Arima Hot Springs is a hot spring with a lot of visitors because it is more accessible from big cities

Than other hot springs It can be reached in about an hour from Osaka and within 30 minutes from Kobe . For this trip, I had a Kansai Wide Pass, so I chose to take the Shinkansen and get off at Kogobe Station and go from Kobe Station to Arima Onsen Station

. I only had to buy a train ticket for 690 yen per person. I asked for the route and the station staff gave me this note. The directions were very detailed. It was an information note. It’s only 1 stop from Shin-Kobe Station to Tamigani Station, but it’s a very long distance.

Go to Tamigani Station and transfer to the train right in front to go to Arima Onsen Station. Get off at Aria Onsen Station and just cross the crossing. Arima Onsen is right there. The train is waiting for you. You can take this and get off at Arima Onsen Station.

Finally, you arrived at Arima Onsen Station. When you arrive at Arima Onsen Station, you can feel the presence of a large hot spring. The Arima River is well organized for taking pictures. Arima Onsen is located in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the oldest hot springs in Japan.

It has been in operation for 1,200 years. There are two types of hot springs: kinsen (golden bath) and ginsen (ginsen). It is called kinsen (golden bath) because it has a lot of iron, and its salinity is twice that of sea water (the highest concentration in Japanese hot springs). Salt)

Is said to be good for muscle pain, neuralgia, skin disease, and blood circulation, and the transparent silver bath containing radium and carbonic acid is said to be effective in treating frozen shoulder, indigestion, and fatigue recovery. Wakayama 3-day, 2-night hot spring trip Osaka 1-night, 2-day short trip

Hyogo Prefecture 3-day, 2-night hot spring trip to the North The last place I went to Arima Onsen was after finishing my 2-day, 1-night short trip to Okayama. I personally experienced how my tired body and muscles could relax, so I thought I made a good choice as the last course.

I heard that Arima Onsen has a gold bath and a silver bath on the same day . As a hot spring, Taiko-no-yu is famous for having both gold and silver public baths. Kin-no-yu, a gold public bath, is open from 8:00 to 22:00 and is closed on the 24th Tuesday of every month.

The fee is 800 yen for adults and on weekdays. It costs 650 yen. Body wash, rinse, shampoo, and dryer are provided, but towels, razors, toothbrushes, etc. are sold. In front of the gold bath, there is also a free foot bath at Kinsen Gold Bath.

Silver bath public bath Kinnoyu is closed for renewal from February 5, 2024 to late April. The fee for Euntang Public Bath is 700 yen for adults and 550 yen on weekdays. Here too, body wash, conditioner, shampoo, and dryer are provided, but towels, razors, toothbrushes, etc. are sold.

A ticket for simultaneous use of two public baths at Geumtang Euntang is 1,200 yen on weekdays. It is said that towels are provided free of charge only on weekdays. Lastly, Taiko no Yu can be considered a comprehensive hot spring resort with various facilities such as 6

Open-air baths, artificial carbonated springs, herb baths, bedrock baths, saunas, and restaurants. The fee is 2,750 for full-time adults on weekdays. This is N. Taikonoyu is a facility within the Kirari Hotel, so it is free for all hotel guests, so I will introduce it in more detail in the Kirari Hotel stay review video.

The best thing about this place is that you can enjoy Arima Onsen’s gold and silver baths at the same time. There are many accommodations in Arima Onsen. Some hot springs only have Kinsen Kinsen Bay, so if you want to enjoy both Kinnoyu and Ginnoyu while staying,

It is a good idea to check the hot spring water when making a reservation. The Kirari Hotel we stayed at this time had both, and Gekkoen only had gold baths. If there is no silver bath, It was a bit disappointing. When you come here, I recommend taking the ropeway Rokko-arima Rope Way. If

You go a little further up from Gekkoen, where we stayed for the second time, you will find the ropeway platform (Arima Onsen Station). It departs every 10, 30, and 50 minutes past the hour, and is paid in cash. Only possible. Please note that

A round-trip ticket from Arima Onsen to the top of Mt. Rokko (Rokko Sancho Station) is 1,850 yen. The one-way cable car ride takes about 12 minutes. The scenery on the way to the top of Mt. Rokko is very nice, whether it is during

The fall foliage season or when the snow is piled up. I think the view will be even more beautiful. As you go up, you can see the entirety of Arima Onsen, and the straight cypress forest and cedar trees are beautiful.

If the weather is good, you can see Himeji in the distance, and you can see the city of Kobe very clearly from the summit observatory. The weather was a bit cloudy that day, so it was not clear. It was a shame. I got off at Rokko-Sancho Station, said I had come, and

Rang the bell of the Rokko bell tower. I also tried drinking Rokko natural cider (330 yen) at the observatory. It was really interesting that cider tasted different in each region. This tastes like Milkis. This

Is where Kawa comes from. I also met a student from Tokyo University who throws latkes (meaning throwing away bad things). He said he was going to Seoul National University in Korea as an exchange student and was looking forward to Korea. He told me to enjoy it to the fullest

Because there are a lot of things to experience and delicious things in Seoul. These are senbei. Some have cream in the middle and some do not. I heard that carbonation makes the senbei crispy. I bought them and tried

Them and they were delicious. I also saw them made in person and Japanese souvenir snacks seem to have a lot of added value. There are things to eat as souvenirs in tourist areas so they are a bit expensive. It’s cheap. Yumotozaka is the main road of Arima Onsen Village. It’s a

Quaint alleyway. The shape of the old houses gives you a taste of old Japan. There are small souvenir shops and restaurants, so it’s great for snacks or a meal. There’s also fried chicken, and a young Japanese man eating it, wondering if it’s delicious. I asked a student to buy it,

But it was full of oil, smelled bad, was too salty, and it couldn’t compete with Korean fried chicken. My stomach was nauseous. For lunch, I went to an okonomiyaki restaurant called 一休 (lkkyu), and there were many delicious-looking menu items, including grilled scallops,

For two people. It was a shame that we couldn’t order as many menu items. We had cake, ice cream, and coffee for dessert, and the ice cream was really delicious. These are restaurants where many young people wait in line. Desserts made with carbonated rice crackers are close to Kobe or Osaka, so come

In the morning, take the ropeway, walk along Yumotozaka Street, have lunch and dessert, choose a hot spring that day, enjoy the hot springs, and then return to the city. I think a trip to Arima Hot Springs would be enough for a one-day trip back to Osaka or Kobe.

Even if I don’t stay there next time, I want to come back to Arima Hot Springs to take a bath that day. I was so disappointed with this hot spring water that I bought bath products, but they came in two different colors. I need to take a bath at home

While thinking about the good water at Arima Onsen. In the next video , I will tell you about my stay at the Kirari Hotel, which has the best public bathhouse in the Arima Onsen area. Thank you. It was a Sun couple’s trip to Japan.
