For lunchtime until 3pm alone, we already get 200-300 guests. So if we don’t prepare enough during the early hours, we’ll have to make up for it during business hours. I applied here at Katsuretsutei after I saw an ad in a job magazine. Before that, I’d already come to eat here once or twice.
And I felt that it has always been a very lively place. I think we’re serving around 10 kg every day. There’re lots of places that offer rice refills for free. But I think it’s rare that the staff asks the customers directly if they’d like a refill.

I’m from Chiba, but came here for a business trip. The Google ratings were really good, so I decided to eat here. The meat juices and thickness – it was very tasty! It was even better than I expected. I want to eat here again when I’m in the area.

More places should take advantage of dumbwaiters to move food from floor to floor. I watched the bakery video on this channel and the dude went up and down these tiny stairs with a ton of dough several times and I kept thinking of how unsafe it was.

😢 Japan is such a beautiful place and I absolutely love Japanese culture, life style, food, people, etc.
but they seem to treat foreigners badly in half the places I’ve visited in Japan. Whether it’s a country side town or the city.
I would get treated like I was a walking germ 🦠
