Welcome to the heart of Hollywood. Hollywood Boulevard is a busy area known for its entertainment history and iconic landmarks. From the Walk of Fame to the handprints at TCL Chinese Theater, this part of town is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Los Angeles.
We will begin our Hollywood Boulevard walking tour at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Orange Ave. Feel the energy of the city as we make our way towards the famous Hollywood Wax Museum. Here, we’ll briefly enter the lobby, an entrance into a world of celebrity replicas. Keep an eye out for the Hulk, Kobe Bryant and Marilyn Monroe.
Continuing our journey, we make our way to the TCL Chinese Theatre. We will take a moment to walk amongst the handprints and signatures of some entertainment legends immortalized in concrete.
As we step back onto Hollywood Boulevard, notice the Walk of Fame under our feet. Over 2,600 brass stars honor the entertainment industryβs biggest names. Next, we will pass by some iconic venues and landmarks, including the Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscars and the Hollywood and Highland Mall. Keep an eye out for street performers and the eclectic mix of shops and people along the way.
Our Hollywood Boulevard walking tour continues down to Cherokee Avenue, where we’ll cross the street and begin our journey back in the direction we came from, but this time youβll get a different view on the opposite side of the street. We’ll pass by the El Capitan Theater, Ripleyβs Believe it or Not Museum, Jimmy Kimmel Live and of course, more star-studded sidewalks.
Our tour concludes as we arrive back at the corner of Orange and Hollywood Blvd.
