Naše maso is a butcher’s that sells beef from Czech Fleckvieh cattle, pork from Přeštice pigs, and sausages and smoked meats made from recipes dating back to the First Czechoslovak Republic

All meat supplied by Amaso comes from the animals of domestic breeders, and in the case of Wagyu, from the Torikai farm in Japan, whom the butchers know personally.

In a dedicated facility in Jenč, the butchers break down the meat themselves – leaving some parts to age and turning others into sausages and smoked meats. Everything was exceptional! The smallest house in Prague

It was built in 1853, in a narrow alley between two houses. It is only 2.25 m wide. The house had two rooms, it is interesting that a brothel was operated here for 40 years (until 1922).

The whole building has not been preserved, so today the entrance door leads only to the alley between two house. This surreal sculpture honoring the great writer Franz Kafka is based upon one of his short stories. I’m heading to the Jewish Quarter.

Gothic place of Jewish worship, completed in 1270 & the legendary home of the Golem of Prague. Golem was an immortal humanoid created by the most famous rabbi from the history of Prague Jewish Quarter, Judah Loew ben Bezalel.

Golem is an animated, anthropomorphic being in Jewish folklore, which is entirely created from inanimate matter, usually clay or mud CHIMNEY CAKE, TRDELNÍK, Trdelník, also called trozkol or trdlo is a kind of spit cake.

It is made from rolled dough that is wrapped around a stick, then grilled and topped with sugar and walnut mix.. In the 21st century it became popular among tourists in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A variation of trdelník with an ice cream filling was popularized by Prague cafés.

Displays on Jewish burial rituals, spanning relics & prayers for the dead, in a Romanesque building. Enduring 19th-century cultural venue with concert halls, an art gallery & exhibition spaces. Arch bridge in concrete, completed in 1916, with city views & easy access to Prague Castle.

Since the 1980s, this once-typical wall has been filled with John Lennon–inspired graffiti, lyrics from Beatles’ songs, and designs relating to local and global causes. Located in a small and secluded square across from the French Embassy, the wall had been decorated by love poems and short messages against the regime since 1960s.

In 1988, the wall was a source of irritation for Gustáv Husák’s communist regime Young Czechs wrote their grievances on the wall and, according to a report of the time, this led to a clash between hundreds of students and security police on the nearby Charles Bridge.

The wall continuously undergoes change, and the original portrait of Lennon is long lost under layers of new paint.

Even when the wall was repainted by authorities, by the next day it was again full of poems and flowers. Today, the wall represents a symbol of global ideals such as love and peace. Yellow penguins have been standing at Kampa since 2008 when Cracking Art Group installed them there.

The Cracking Art Group, a Milan-based art movement, the yellow penguins are all made from recycled bottles. Despite their adorable stature, yellow hue, and tiny broad bellies, the penguins’ appearance comes with a warning against the dangers of climate change and plastic consumption.

The penguin is a social animal and has a strong ecological meaning: its survival is affected by global warming and ice melting,” says the group’s website
