So from Vanuatu to Japan, talk about cultural differences and weather from 35 to -2 and some snow, but it was time to leave Vanuatu and continuing the journey. I started of in Tokyo, I spend 3 days there but it was a bit to much there, crowded and so on, even tho it’s a very cool city I was eager to see the mountains and Kyoto. So I took the train and bus to Hakone a beautiful town in the mountains and its known for its nice hot springs.
Theres no problems to visit even if you have tattoos.
If there’s good weather there you can see mt Fuji from there, unfortunately I couldn’t see it.

Hey so finally made it to uh Japan I’m uh in Tokyo right now and uh I just landed here last night so it’s uh it’s nice to be here I’m very excited it’s a a little bit colder here it’s around 10° uh but it’s actually pretty nice to
Be able to put on a jacket and not sweat 247 um so right now I’m at uh this Temple here it’s pretty cool uh I don’t I don’t really know much about it and I couldn’t figure it out really and because it’s all in Japanese and yeah
But apparently it was some old um Shogun that lived here um way way back like in the 15th century and uh unfortunately the Americans that bomb this place during World War to so everything burned to the ground but they been rebuilding it obviously so uh yeah it’s it’s pretty nice it’s [Applause]
Cool so I’m going to do some shopping here in a secondhand store and one thing I noticed here in Japan is they have pretty funny shoes like look at this [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] ones that’s different I Guess so I’m here at the beautiful Mai Temple um it’s very beautiful pretty big uh unfortunately I can’t say much more about it because um I don’t know I don’t know what’s what’s been going on here or what’s going on but uh it seems pretty popular lot of people and uh yeah very
Very beautiful wow that’s the Big D in there have a massive drum yeah I left a little note there wishing everyone a good life good health and um wish everyone to have a open uh heart and open mind and peace in life if you have all of that I reck
You’re going to have a pretty good life yeah just have to stay free so I’m just about to visit hot spring here in Japan and um You probably heard that before that a lot of places you’re not allowed to visit if you have tattoos and
I do have quite a few tattoos but uh on this one it’s okay as long as I go by myself with no companies and I went to another one uh last night like a sauna and there I had to buy a big sticker and put on my shed which is said I just
Respect the rules and as long as I had that one on it was fine wow that was a lovely experience it only cost uh 10 USD to go in here 1,400 um y from one fisherman to another that’s that’s dedication it’s uh currently snowing here hello and yeah obviously it’s pretty
Cold and I’m still here trying to catch some fish hello apparently it’s pretty good truck fishing here it’s a beautiful surrounding here very beautiful nature yo Japan is so cool it’s really good up here but uh today I going to head off to Koto and see what’s happening over there
But first we’re going to check out there’s one of these ones at the lake down here it’s meant to be very beautiful so we’re going to check that out before we leave but um yeah everything is so nice here and beautiful like this lamp poost beautiful right The trees are very very impressive here I wonder how old they [Applause] Are [Applause] [Applause] time to go on the bullet train to Tokyo oh sorry not Tokyo Kyoto So I’m here in kyota at the famous uh bamboo forest it’s really nice but it’s really crowded as well and I would say it’s a bit overrated um yeah just too many people and I mean it’s beautiful Forest but uh the prevest place I was in the forest
There was just Next Level it wasn’t bamboo but it’s yeah super cool place um yeah it’s probably way better if you come early in the morning when it’s just the people around and now I’m going to see if I can find some monkeys I don’t really like monkeys
Actually they have a pretty bad history with monkeys because when I was 12 and I was in Kenya I got chased by a baboon and it run off to me when I was trying to go into our Bungalow I shut the door and he tried to push up the door again
But I managed to shut it so I was uh I was lucky there and then I had some bad encounter with monkeys in Thailand when they try and in Bali as well and uh yeah they just come up and try to grab your stuff and I seen uh I met two people
That got bitten by them as well a bit of a hike to get up here but it’s well worth it because 600 y to get up here and and to see the monkeys and yeah they were pretty cool actually much friendlier than the ones I met before so that was
Nice meanwhile all the couples here just spinning around in the boats can’t help myself but think if I only had my fishing rod with me I could be fishing here too Bad A
