So we are in Nagano right now we came all the way here to eat lunch in Inigo so they gave us this bag with a bunch of tools we got our Chopsticks and some bowls so let’s uh let’s get digging in so this eating in an igloo experience can be

Like going to be a nice illumination we might come back to see that I’m not sure yet while we were exploring we came across an igloo Shrine by the way this whole Igloo Village is part of a month-long snow Festival that happens here every year in the month of February
As for getting here we came by rental car but you can also catch a bus from Yama station that takes takes only about 20 minutes so the town we’re in aago is called Yama and other than the Kamakura where you can eat the na and the igloo
They also have a snow Festival going on it’s called Yuki m city so in different places around the station there are these giant snow sculptures so here is one of them and after viewing the snow sculpture we were on to our next destination it was a bit far so we took
The train to this one by the way if you are traveling to Japan with with one or more friends I highly recommend getting a mobile Wi-Fi this is one device that you and your whole friend group can connect to it’s super reliable and can easily be picked up at the airport the

Point between the two whether a post town is a stopping point from Edo period back when they were Travelers who were traveling between Kyoto and Edo and yeah this is just the place that they would stay all of the buildings here are preserved and it’s really beautiful

Cream and he said oy van so he’s never had vanilla ice cream this delicious in his whole life so yeah obviously we have to try it not now cuz we just had the SOA but we’ll be back for the John lenon vanilla ice cream I would say this place does look
Very beautiful in the snow but I think it might be better to come in the summer I would definitely like to come back here in the summer or spring or fall um it seems It’s kind of off season now so a lot of the stores and shops are
Actually closed does look pretty in the snow though and you will come across random ice sculptures yeah where’s coming to if you’re here in the winter but if you’re choosing a day to come I would choose one of the other Seasons snowman he’s got hair I don’t know the
John Lennon ice cream has some competition because this place has so many flavors and they look like really good like this is like whole kaido aduki bean ice cream that looks bomb I don’t know we might have to come here instead sorry John Lennon so at either end of the post town there is a shrine there’s also temples actually I don’t know if this is a temple or Shrine I think it’s a it’s a shrine it’s a shrine yeah there shrines and temples throughout the town too that you can

Rules say person is a fony okay okay so don’t commit arson and make sure to pay people to take your bags got it across a very interesting art and tea house that is closed unfortunately but if it was open there’s admission free for artists and foreigners only so inside it looks super cool
Cool I’m also very intrigued because the god over there seems to be wearing a Christian cross anyway maybe next time we came in this shop to get tea look how cute is the menu it seems they have scones round scones and square ones Here is the adorable Matsumoto character the mascot this is an adorable Samurai with a sword and a flower and Mountaintop hat and it wouldn’t be a trip to Nano without visiting matoto Castle I heard this is a really good Castle so I’m excited to check it out
Let’s go see what’s inside we’ve got our tickets let’s go mamoto Castle was constructed in the 16th century it’s made up of five Towers the three main ones were built battle ready when there was a lot of War during the sen Goku period and around 40 years later during the peaceful part of
The Edo period the latter Two Towers were built for more aesthetic purposes my personal favorite was the moon viewing Tower another interesting aspect is the Castle’s well preserved collection of original wooden Interiors including steep staircases hidden passageways with which I unfortunately didn’t get to see and defensive features
Like small windows for Archers back in the day maloto Castle was associated with Samurai culture it served as a strategic stronghold during Japan’s feudal era and played a pivotal role in numerous battles and today it stands as one of Japan’s National Treasures and that’s all for this Nago trip thank you
