🌸Today i preview a quick VLOG uodate if current Sakura situation in Tokyo at the iconic Chidorigafuchi moat before the Chiyoda Sakura Festival starts in Tokyo! 🌸

Hop on board as I embark on a scenic ride across Tokyo on my trusty Fairdale Weekender Drop gravel bike to bring you the latest scoop on the 2024 Sakura blossom situation. Despite the chilly weather this year, Chidorigafuchi remains a must-visit spot, renowned for its picture-perfect cherry blossom views. Due to the cold weather this year the blossoms are still to be seen.

Located a short walk away from Kudanshita Station and Hanzomon Station, Chidorigafuchi boasts a 700-meter-long greenway adorned with over 260 cherry trees, including the famous Yoshino cherry trees. From late March to early April, this enchanting pathway transforms into a sea of pastel pink blooms, offering a breathtaking sight for all who visit. 🚲🌸

Whether you explore during the day or opt for a romantic evening stroll, the illuminated trees create a mesmerizing ambiance that’s truly unforgettable. And for a unique perspective, why not rent a boat from the “Chidori-ga-fuchi Boat Pier” and glide along the moat, surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom? 🌌🚣‍♂️

During the Chiyoda Sakura Festival, the entire greenway comes alive with LED lights, casting a magical glow over the blossoms. Plus, special night-time boat rentals offer the chance to experience the beauty of cherry blossoms under the twinkling night sky. ✨
