Hi everyone. This is Fuji Japan Travel. How’s everyone doing today? I’ve got a real treat for you. Following the rave reviews from my last episode. We’re diving into the top 6 buffet picks in Tokyo. And guess what? You don’t even need to stay at the hotels to enjoy these.

The ever evolving and welcoming District of Ginza, this is where history and culture have been lovingly preserved and passed down through generations. And as we stroll down the main boulevard, you’ll be greeted by a parade of charming storefronts from world renowned brands. From the luxurious touch of Gucci Chanel and Cartier

To the innovative designs of MCM, ISSEI MIYAKE, and Giorgio Armani, not to mention the elegant Bottega, Veneta, COACH, MIKIMOTO, etc. It’s a delightful journey through fashion and design, making even a simple walk an enjoyable experience. Our first stop, the Hyatt centric Ginza Tokyo, nestled among luxury shops and traditional

Japanese confectioneries on the tree lined NAMIKI street in Ginza 6 chome. This place isn’t just about shopping. It’s a stone’s throw from Kabuki-za theater, entertainment hubs and a short stroll to Marunouchi, Nihonbashi and Shiodome. Stepping inside, I was greeted with a sophisticated high end interior that screams Ginza.

The first floor entrance leads to a buffet on the second, showcasing Ginza essence through media, fashion, entertainment and landscape themed artwork. It’s a true exploration of the area’s story. The hotel’s brand concept centers around being the hub of information and the heart of the city. It’s designed to enhance your urban exploration

With a chic and modern décor that echoes the history of Japan and Ginza. The cozy ambiance makes it perfect for relaxing or even getting some work done at the convenient desks with power outlets! Though buffet open from 11:30 a.m., spacious and never too much overcrowded if you come to weekdays.

The live show kitchen enticing aromas from the large oven and fresh seasonal ingredients from Tokyo make for a sensory dining experience. With about 40 meters of terrace space overlooking the dynamic Ginza streets, it’s an ever changing view worth savoring. What I tried, I tried the weekend lunch buffet priced at ¥5,500.

The variety is incredible from fresh salads and appetizers to a chef prepared main dish of grilled meats on a charcoal grill. Therefore, you can try some rare meets such as Peach tea pork roast or lamb, freshly baked pizza, Japanese grilled fish or many pasta or hamburgers also.

Calm down, that’s not all. Are you ready to indulge in a dessert paradise? The buffet boasts an incredible variety of sweets that might just challenge you to try them all. From the rich flavors of chocolate cake and cupcakes to the crispiness of cookies and waffles. Plus roll cakes, cream

Donuts, coffee jelly and fruit jelly. It’s a feast not only for the palate, but for the eyes too! The array is so vast you might wonder if it’s possible to savor every single one. DRINKWISE! There’s a good range of options like apple juice, orange juice, of course my favorite coffee and tea.

If you’re considering a stay, it starts from around ¥25,000 per night. It’s a bit pricey for me. But hey, it’s Ginza. And speaking of Ginza, the area itself is a delight! With its luxury shopping, artistic architecture, and leisurely vibe, it’s a must visit in Tokyo.

Make sure to add this hotel buffet to your Ginza itinerary. Okay next one! I found a unique “Starbucks buffet” in Ginza, you can You must be interedted in it,dont’you? This Starbucks recently renovated is best described as an all day Italian dining experience

With a coffee twist located just beside a regular Starbucks, this two story building transforms into a buffet venue after 5p.m. As I stepped on to the second floor, I was struck by its spacious and stylish ambiance. Ginza’s fashionable vibe certainly reflects in the patrons attire.

I visited alone, which felt a bit rare…but I don’t care! I’m gonna eat! But the highlight here is the unlimited time buffet available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s longer than other places. The buffet area located on the right was adorned with Starbucks Christmas themed goods and beans.

The staff divided into bread and deli experts were eager to share details about the offerings. The lineup changes daily featuring Italian ham, salami, cheese, focaccia, pizzas, lasagna, arancini and more. The rich variety truly evokes the essence of Italy. Another unique aspect is the changing menu depending on the time of day.

For instance, my first round included fresh vegetable salads, but by my second visit, warm veggie options were added. The deli section was equally impressive, with additions like croissants, chocolate and pistachio bread. On my second round, the staff will even toaster selections to your liking, a testament to their friendly and accommodating service.

Today, I followed the staff’s recommendations and ordered everything available for the first round. This is apecherina for ¥3,850 a blend of the Italian concept Aperitivo and Siena. Fear not. The deal includes a drink of your choice, with unlimited access to various Italian foods.

You can choose from alcoholic beverages, wine, beer and cocktails. And right there in the center are the cream croquettes…no doubt, It was great. They look like they’d pair wonderfully with wine, don’t they? And there appearance is just as splendid. I’ve got prosciutto, an assortment of bread, salads and something akin to pizza, bread.

This Starbucks, originally one of five Italian bakeries in Tokyo and Yokohama, offers a unique blend of Starbucks reserve coffee and Italian cuisine. With the recent renovation, they’ve elevated this experience. Serving different foods and sweets throughout the day, over 90% of patrons come in pairs and the relaxed

Atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a meal while having a leisurely chat. For our 3rd stop in Ginza today. This is hotel’s buffets, but just for buffet is available, so I came from my house today. Just a four minute walk from Ginza station.

You’ll find the venue on the second floor of A LOFT Tokyo Ginza hotel. The first floor as a stylish high tech lobby. You just head straight to the elevator and up to the second floor for the buffet. This, the famous highlight, is its choice of 30 different vegetables and deli items.

Looking really healthy buffets compare to others. Hmm, I like it. and deli items. And guess what? Freshly baked popovers are included with my salad, priced at just ¥2,600 for the salad bar alone. Incredibly inexpensive, right? It’s the best deal we’ve seen today. The variety extends

Beyond raw vegetables to include delicious cooked side dishes. Apart from salads, there are options for main courses, desserts and tossed drinks. The buffet is well-organized with a section for raw veggies and another for dressings and warm salads. You’ll find substantial offerings like hearty potato salad, vegetable marinade,

Macaroni salad and ratatouille satisfying even without a main course. The seasonings and variety, including nuts and other toppings, really add to the satisfaction. This time, I visited on a weekday, therefore I was lucky to find it not too crowded.

I think I’ll visit here again with my grand mother before becoming too famous. This restaurant, though, in a long standing hotel, has only opened this year, contributing to the fewer diners visiting right after opening on a weekday. I almost had the buffet to myself, just a few other parties around. For those

Wanting a buffet experience but are conscious about their diet (yes it’s me) This salad bar buffet is a must try. Now let’s talk about the popovers. These are shoe like bread made with lots of eggs and baked at high temperatures.

It’s something quite new in Japan, and I had to look it up myself. The staff brings them fresh, allowing you to enjoy them warm with your salad. It’s fluffy, slightly sweet and really delicious. You can eat as much as you want. So I couldn’t resist asking for seconds.

Ready to start your day right in Tokyo, Shinagawa? Let’s head over to Shinagawa. Just a short 5 to 7 minus walk from the station where the Grand Prince Hotel is there. Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa offers a breakfast buffet. As same as Aloft ginza, if you’re not staying overnight,

You can still dive into the buffet with a simple prepayment. This hotel boasts a brand concept that’s all about blending urban luxury with a touch of nature, offering every room a balcony to soak in the Tokyo skies amidst greenery. From enjoying afternoon tea

With a view of Takanawa’s lush landscape to relaxing by the pool gazing at the city skyline and even lounge hopping within the hotel, it’s luxury living redefined. Plus, don’t miss out on the unique rooftop bar experience, complete with firepits and original s’mores to enjoy under the stars.

Now let’s talk Now let’s talk about the buffet itself! Opening its doors in the morning, The venue is spacious and exudes luxury, yet it’s surprisingly uncrowded. The interior strikes a balance between modern sophistication and warmth, thanks to the large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. With 124 seats available,

You’re likely to find a spot with ease, especially if you aim for non-peak times. The restaurant concept is a buffet that feels like a course meal, thanks to three show kitchens serving up freshly made dishes at 3700yen plus service charge totaling around 4180yen, you’re in for a lavish breakfast experience.

The crowd is mostly business travelers and solo diners with a good mix of age groups indicating it’s welcoming for everyone, including families. The buffet spreads from classic breakfast staples like sausages and scrambled eggs near the entrance to an omelet station where chefs whip up hot, fluffy omelets right before your eyes.

There’s also a vast selection of vegetables, appetite chasers and premium dishes like salmon cup, crazy and bread gratin. Whether you’re in the mood for the hotel’s original curry or fancy making your ocha-zuke, the range from Japanese to Western cuisine means you can tailor your breakfast just the way you like it.

Though I went for a Western style meal this time, I’m tempted to try the Japanese offerings on the 2rd turn…🔥🥋 Desserts include a variety of fruits and cereals, catering well to international guests. The selection ranges from tangy to sweet, offering a refreshing end to a sumptuous breakfast.

So whether you’re a Tokyo local or just passing through the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa’s buffet is a must try for a taste of luxury and a great start to your day in the city. Look at this! A spread so vast you find yourself

Wandering in a delightful dilemma of what to feast on first. I finally settled into my seat with a plate that screamed American breakfast style! Think sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon and grilled veggies all paired with a Danish pastry. Its slender oozing with chocolate. But wait, there’s more.

Imagine kicking off your morning with freshly made curry or a colorful omelet whipped up right before your eyes by the chef, ensuring each bite is piping hot. I went all out with the sauces, indulging in the variety on offer. And of course, what’s a buffet without seconds?

I topped off my plate with fruits and more bread, starting my day on an incredibly high note. I urge you all to dive into this experience yourself. It’s the start of a fantastic day. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Let’s start with something uniquely Japanese. The Ochazuke Station.🍵

Here you can top your race with delicacies like Inigo seal, spicy cod roe and salmon roe, along with wasabi and seaweed for that extra kick. Of course, that’ not all as you thought. Fancy customizing your own bowl of Udon, there’s a station for that, too! Complete with dipping soy sauce and chili

Oil to craft your perfect noodle dish. And for those who love a bit of a show, watch as the chef prepares omelets right in front of you. Pair it with curry for an unexpectedly delightful combination. No breakfast is complete without a trip to the bread corner! The variety is

So vast, it seems like the bread is spilling out of the baskets. From everyone’s loved donuts, For those with a sweet tooth to an assortment of jams, including blueberry, to slather on your choice of bread. And for the grand finale, the dessert corner does not disappoint.

It’s a riot of colors with an array of fruits like kiwi melon, pineapple and the exotic dragon fruit. Add some yogurt on top for an extra layer of deliciousness. Fever time.🫄 Beside it, The drink station offers everything from tomato juice and smoothies to coffee.

I went for a hot coffee to start, but with so many options, who can stop at just one? So if you’re looking for a breakfast that offers both a feast for the eyes and the stomach, you’ve found your spot. Don’t miss out on this buffet extravaganza that promises to start your day

On a high note. The buffet on the 11th floor of Shibuya Hikarie right next to Shibuya station. Just hop on the elevator and you’re whisked up to the 11th floor. The view from here Absolutely breathtaking. Perfect for tourists. After your meal, why not explore the other floors?

Shibuya Hikarie isn’t just a dining destination. It’s a shopping paradise too. From cosmetics and fashion to art exhibitions and even a second hand book market, it’s one of Shibuya largest malls. Now, let’s talk about the food, since it’s a business complex. I went for a half sized pasta dish.

Perfect for a light lunch. I chose a set menu for ¥3,800, which included a fish dish, a meat dish, dessert and coffee. Plus, every menu comes with an appetizer, buffet and a drink bar. Visiting during a weekday lunchtime, it was surprisingly quiet, almost like having the place to myself. Lucky me.

The menu changes every two weeks, which is incredibly frequent and shows their dedication to variety. The appetizer buffet offers more than just salads about four different small dishes complement the pasta, main dish and dessert making for a really satisfying meal. The pasta arrived first. I had the bolognaise with almonds on top.

Delicious and easy to eat thanks to its half size and thinner noodles. For the main course, I chose fish thick, juicy and more substantial than I expected. Finally, the dessert with coffee to wrap up the meal. The dessert portions are quite generous. I tried the baked panna cotta. A popular choice here.

It had a delightful bitterness from the baking, balanced with sweetness, from the sauce. A perfect ending for those with a sweet tooth. So if you’re in Shibuya and looking for a place with great food and a view Shibuya, Hikarie is definitely the spot to check out.

This is the final stop of our tour. A gem hidden in plain sight. Suitengu station nestled in Tokyo’s Chuo district near the historic Nihonbashi area. It’s a place many are hearing about for the first time, myself included. This neighborhood isn’t just a gateway to the bustling streets
