Sendai is the biggest city in Tohoku region that you need to visit while not as famous as Tokyo Osaka and Kyoto this place is the centre of so many attractions and a super Japanese food hub perfect for foodie like us this is the plan for today

As always full itinerary in the description below subscribe turn on the notification bell to see all my videos and itineraries first we have to visit the local morning market get some fresh but slightly strange seafood that is only available in Japan also got some fresh crispy croquettes

Sendai Downtown is the perfect place to window shop Ichibancho arcade is a must visit you can even see trees in the covered shopping area choices are as much as Tokyo but without long queues how good next we visited the shopping mall PARCO right next to the station

There you will find a Pokemon center just right next to it you have Jump Shop for some shonen manga stuff we got to our lunch spot early but guess what there is already a queue at Tanya Zenjirou yes the must eat in Sendai is none other than grilled ox tongue

It’s cooked over charcoal to perfection so delicious the tongue literally French kisses and melts in your mouth 100% 10 out of 10 here after a hearty lunch we finally can take part in the local bus tour around the best attractions in Sendai first attraction is called Zuihoden Mausoleum

At Stop 4 the place is hidden within a very old forest we enjoyed a slow and calm atmosphere here my advice for the Loople bus is to get down at the big attractions only otherwise you won’t be able to board the bus because no one comes off the bus

We spent most of our time at the next attraction Aoba Castle or stop 6 this place is the best place to soak in the views of Sendai Oh and 10 out of 10 you should try the famous Zunda shake while walking around the castle ruins, museums shrines and so much more

Next is stop 12 at Osaki Hachimangu Shrine lastly we got off at Sendai Mediatheque at Stop 13 for some modern architecture after that we explored the city with our usual window shopping also got some kawaii souvenirs at an official Studio Glibli store but the main highlight of today

Also 100% 10 out of 10 recommended is the food traditional kaiseki experience Hana Ita the ingredients and culinary skills are at the highest level I have a separate video for this place so check that out see you tomorrow
