Hello, I’m Shie! This time, we will introduce 9 recommended and delicious Mont Blanc dishes to try in Kansai. There will be a variety of items that will be squeezed in front of you, seasonal items, and unusual Mont Blanc items, so please take your time and watch until the end.

The first restaurant we will introduce is Nakajima Daishodo Yodoyabashi branch in Osaka. This is a shop where you can eat Tamba chestnut sweets, whose main store is in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture. I’m in love with the showcase ❤︎. Wait until your order starts.

Thank you for calling out to me…it has begun! Oh, it’s amazing☆ Please take a look at it from a different angle. I ordered freshly squeezed Tamba chestnut Mont Blanc (1,650 yen) and hot black tea (440 yen). Whether you look at it from above or from the side, it’s very impressive and luxurious.

I’ll enjoy having this! The marron cream squeezed in front of you is very soft♪ A gentle sweetness spreads in your mouth. The cross section looks like this. Inside is crispy meringue and lightly sweetened fresh cream. Carefully keep the chestnut on the side ❤︎. I started seeing something. There were also large chestnuts inside!

The chestnuts on the outside were soft and delicious, and I was able to fully enjoy them! This is Tanba Mont Blanc Pudding (550 yen) and hot coffee (440 yen). Mont Blanc is on top of pudding made with Tamba Yamabuki eggs.

The pudding was very mellow and I was able to enjoy it with the Mont Blanc as well. Thank you for the meal! The second store we would like to introduce to you is GRAN CHA, a Yamato tea daifuku specialty store located in Nara.

This is a shop where you can eat Yamato tea sweets, and there is a cafe space in the back. I ordered a jewel Mont Blanc and drink set (1,810 yen).

This is a very nice Mont Blanc made of Yamato tea cake topped with 4 types of paste ❤︎. I’m so happy when I see it up close! From left to right: Yamato Hojicha, Yamato Matcha, Japanese Chestnut, and Purple Sweet Potato. This is a true gem that you will want to look at forever.

The set drink I chose is Yamato special selection Kabuse Sencha. The first cup tasted like soup stock, and the taste became more refreshing with each brew. I’ll enjoy having this! Inside the colorful, fluffy paste is homemade Yamato tea sponge cake. The dish is accented with nuts.

The base is a Yamato Matcha cake made with purple sweet potatoes and Yamato Matcha, and a Yamato Hojicha cake made with Japanese chestnuts and Hojicha. I could really enjoy the taste of each of the four types, and it was delicious without being too sweet! Thank you for the meal!

Finally, I was able to see a very powerful scene♪ The third store we would like to introduce is MALEBRANCHE Kyoto Kitayama Main Store in Kyoto. This is a Western confectionery store founded in 1982. You can watch your order being prepared right next to your table.

Started! They will squeeze out a generous amount of their special marron cream right in front of you ❤︎. Below are chopped chestnuts mixed with rum chosen from the list. (This time I chose Dillon Trevue Rum VSOP.) This is the Montblanc Haute Couture (1,540 yen). This is Rooibos Cream Orange (880 yen).

I’ll enjoy having this! I can’t get enough of the smoothness of the fluffy marron cream. The cross section looks like this. The mousse glacé inside is cool and melts in your mouth. The scent of rum that soaked into the sponge cake was also amazing.

The delicious Mont Blanc and fragrant black tea make me feel dreamy ❤︎. Thank you for the meal! The fourth restaurant we would like to introduce is “Ujien Kissako” in Osaka. This is a long-established Japanese tea cafe.

I ordered the matcha (1,200 yen) and hojicha soy milk ole (680 yen) from the Mont Blanc set that made me smile. After an order is placed, each piece is carefully finished. Hojicha soymilk ole, which is a combination of hojicha and whipped soy milk, has a fragrant aroma and is very mellow.

I’ll enjoy having this! Mont Blanc Cream contains Uji matcha and white bean paste, and the scent of matcha spreads in your mouth. Uji matcha is also kneaded into the whipped cream and sponge cake inside, making it a true matcha product.

The green of the matcha was very beautiful, and it was delicious and made me smile. Thank you for the meal! When I visited again the next day, I ate Mont Blanc’s roasted green tea and chestnuts. They were both delicious!

The fifth restaurant we would like to introduce is “Kinohana Saga Arashiyama branch” in Kyoto. A store specializing in sweets made with chestnuts and potatoes. Here you can eat a slightly different Mont Blanc! I ordered Mont Blanc’s Chikurin Imo Dango (550 yen).

I’ll enjoy having this! The dango is wrapped in sweet potato filling and squeezed with matcha-flavored chestnut paste. It was a delicious Japanese Mont Blanc that was not too sweet and had plenty of volume ❤︎. Thank you for the meal! The sixth restaurant we would like to introduce is “Monte Blanco” in Kobe.

This is a Mont Blanc specialty store located at the entrance of Kitanozaka. I’m going up the stairs like a princess. You can look outside from the large windows. Please call and your order will begin! It’s a fun and happy time to watch! Please take a look at it from a different angle.

It’s done! I ordered Mont Blanc pumpkin (drink included) (1,650 yen). For the drink, I chose chamomile citrus from among the herbal teas. The Mont Blanc was topped with pumpkin and seeds! I’ll enjoy having this! The beautiful yellow Mont Blanc cream is made with Ebisu pumpkin from Hokkaido and red bean paste.

Whipped cream also contains pumpkin. I enjoyed the sweetness of the steamy pumpkin and it was very delicious. Thank you for the meal! The seventh restaurant we would like to introduce is Riku Cafe ROOM in Osaka. This is a cafe located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Uncle Rikuro’s Namba main store.

Please call and your order will begin! Squeeze fresh cream on top of Uncle Rikuro’s cheesecake and top with chopped chestnuts… You can squeeze out plenty of marron cream! She shook me at the end ❤︎. Please take a look at it from a different angle. I ordered the freshly squeezed Mont Blanc (1,320 yen).

The marron cream uses Rihei chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture, known as the king of chestnuts, and the cheesecake uses cream cheese from Denmark. It sways ♪. Enjoy with hot Riku Blend Tea (800 yen)! Both the cheesecake and marron cream are so fluffy❤︎. The cross section looks like this.

The marron cream is so rich that you can really feel the chestnuts. You can enjoy Uncle Rikuro’s always delicious cheesecake even more deliciously! The chopped chestnuts and raisins at the bottom of the cheesecake were a nice accent. Thank you for the meal!

The 8th restaurant we would like to introduce is “PATISSERIE TOOTH TOOTH” located in Kobe. This is a patisserie representing Kobe. This is located at TOOTH TOOTH MART FOOD HALL & NIGHT FES at Kobe Port Museum. I ordered Mont Blanc ~Pistachio~ (897 yen).

I’ll enjoy having this! The green color of the pistachio cream is lovely. The cross section looks like this. The pistachio cream’s pistachio paste and white bean paste are very mellow❤︎. It contains fresh cream and meringue. As I ate further, I discovered that it contained pistachio brûlée and strawberry cream!

A variety of flavors were combined into one, and I was able to enjoy the deliciousness♪ Thank you for the meal! The 9th restaurant we would like to introduce is “Japanese Chestnut Specialty Saori JR Kyoto Isetan Branch” in Kyoto. This is a shop where you can enjoy original chestnut desserts.

I received a call and the order began! It’s amazing! I want this time to last forever…❤︎. Please take a look at it from a different angle. I ordered the Kinshi Mont Blanc “Ro” with a pairing drink (2,420 yen). It has a very luxurious appearance.

For the drink, I chose the hot hojicha “Kiku Kaori”. I’ll enjoy having this! This Kinshi Mont Blanc uses domestic Japanese chestnuts (from Ebino, Miyazaki Prefecture). The sweetness of sugar is suppressed to the limit, so you can fully enjoy the original flavor of chestnuts.

It is fluffy and the chestnut flavor spreads in your mouth. The cross section looks like this, and you can see the fresh cream. Kinshi Mont Blanc, which is 1mm thick, is very fine and delicate. Inside is a crunchy meringue. I drink plum kombucha on the way.
