Number of streams by Niji EN livers broken down by weeks. Feb12th – Mar.17th 2024.
Source: Vrabi. Filtered by Niji EN and manually went through the weeks and recorded the names. I tried filtering out some outliers such as Kyo's graduation streams and ones on the Nijisanji EN channel.
A few learnings:
– Livers from the newer gens are putting in the grind, while the old guards from Lazulight to Luxiem are taking a step back.
– There were 459 streams in the month of January, but about 365 streams between Feb.12-Mar.17th. Considering the recent Financial report showing Niji EN stagnating between November to January, and that viewership & earning per stream is going down, something something negligible.
– Alban seems to be consistently at around the top in terms of viewer numbers. Fulgur and Rosemi are not doing too bad.
Disclaimers: This data only counts actual streams, this means that even if Shu is a part of Smash Boys Off Collab, only Yu Q. Wilson is counted since it was streamed on his channel. Also there is a chance that some streams are missing from the data (found 1 with Yu), nevertheless they serve as a good basis for #s. Also didn't filter out some mini video premiers and I regret not doing that, Finana's number would drop down to 3 for total but I don't remember anyone else.

Memberships to those with less than 5 streams should ask for refund

But honestly, I’m not surprised the older gens are streaming less. They’ve probably seen more shit. So they’d have a better idea how screwed the branch is. The newer gens probably aren’t disillusioned enough to realize how bullshit and toxic things really are. The older gens might also know extra info that hasn’t been shared with the newcomers. Plus the older ones are probably further along in the burnout stage. The newer ones might still have energy reserves to push through.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the older ones are planning exits and laying low, while the newer ones don’t even know they need to start planning to leave. And then a few of them (Fulgur, Aia, Scarle) may be streaming just to keep their minds off of things.
Can you do a comparison as well for the previous month? Would be interesting to see how much of the older gens were streaming before the shitfest.
