Additional advise for anyone planning to get monetized is to use all the 3 additional PIN attempts (available every 3 weeks) due to the fact that you are required to verify within 4 months, and depending on your region, the physical mail may not arrive on time
If ever your physical emails have not arrived, you can get verified without a PIN by going through the PIN troubleshooter and filling up a contact form. After filling up the form, you will be contacted via email within 48 hours, approving of your request and verifying your Adsense account
Through this, you can make sure you can get yourself monetized as I once received my physical emails only after I was already monetized and about 2 months later the 4-month deadline that was given

2% of $1,000 is $20 bucks. Company makes $980, and you pocket $20 bucks. But yea, 2% is still a lot though, right. And Mysta was getting 1%. I swear they got their livers brainwashed man.

Oh did Doki get brutal legend?
SanguineCavalier
So, let me get this straight:
1. Doki’s income right now is mostly/entirely merch sales (maybe superchats as well, but it sounds like that’s tied to the same process as YT ad revenue?)
2. Doki now has several staff (Mr Man, Little Man, and I think there’s an accountant? There may be others I don’t know about.)
3. On top of paying for any creative work commissioned for projects (not like that’s new, though), she’s also now paying for the production cost and overheads of all her merch, plus any associated services for merch or streaming (web hosting, subscriptions for software, upgrades to model/rigging). There may be other costs we don’t know about, too.
4. ***She’s still making more of an income than she was at Kurosanji after all that is accounted for.***
5. (inb4 someone claims she would have been fine at Kurosanji except that she wasted money on projects: not only did the glacial and possibly corrupt process for project approval pretty much force talents to fund their own projects and just hope they’d get reimbursed later, but Kurosanji wouldn’t let her hire a personal assistant when she felt she needed one. The excessive spending on work-related costs is 100% on The Black Company)
Edit 1: Spelling errors and adding/rewording sentences for clarity.

based on how the hololive girls push and shill their merch, it’s clear that they understand the value of the merch because they can see the returns. i’m glad doki is discovering this for herself finally
