To be fair to Nijisanji in this case, the perms to play games has more to do with Japanese copyright law, since Canadian fair use laws are currently more permissive about streaming video games. Doki has more freedom to just pick a game to stream on a whim, since she doesn’t need to worry about a parent company dealing with the fallout of an upset publisher.

I mean tbf especially for JP Agencies at the beginning not getting perms was a big issue and might also be a dealbreaker but honestly by now not getting Game perms is quite a non-issue for everyone and it became accepted and you are really more in agencies for other benefit reasons and not just solely for playing and streaming games. And if you still really want to play x game then you just ask your roommate to play it.
