    Riku only want quick money.
no vision for long term project
    niji future is grim

  2. Savings-Bar8364

For investing that is one of the worst answers you could give.

  3. ryokayin

Riku: “I need more money to build more yachts!”

  4. piggymoo66

So he just outed himself saying that he has no future vision and never plans to even have one. Right at the face of his income stream.

What a fucking joke. He can’t sink fast enough.

  5. It must really hurt to read this as a Niji Liver. They are basically saying: “Our streamers are not worthy of any mid/long term investment. Just give us some money now.” So sad.

  6. Chemical_Cheek4114

So this is just basically an admittance that livers are there to make him a quick buck and wont hesitate to sell the company if it burns? Bruh.

  7. Fishman465

He’s doing his part to Accelerate….. the stock prices plujfe

He has said that mantra for years now.

    >Although Mr. Tazumi is now in the spotlight, he has also experienced major failures: In 2017, he launched another video service with a few colleagues, but the business folded when they could not find an investment source.

    >”Before starting the virtual YouTuber business, I had started four businesses, but they failed. I couldn’t get investment, two of my colleagues quit, and I was the only one left.”

    >It’s just that my personality is the “lazy” type. So I prefer to do things in short, concentrated bursts.

    >Obviously it’s impossible to concentrate on everything in life all at once, so I try to make a clear distinction between “when to do” and “when not to do”.

    >The virtual YouTuber market is a market that has just started. I want to concentrate on it.

    >Title : I want to play the game in a way that I get immediate results.
In reality, we went with virtual YouTubers because we thought it was a business suited for short-term focus.

    >In Japan, the video series from “The Fishers'” called “YLYL : Animated emoji.” got viral, and there seemed to be a market for it
I thought that if I concentrated on the combination of animoji and live streaming – which was starting to become popular – I could compete in this field.

    >Around that time, VTuber “Kizuna Ai” had just surpassed 1M subs and was getting very popular. She was ranked high among female YouTubers.

    >There was no doubt that virtual YouTubers were coming. I released “Nijisanji” to ride that wave.

    >In the future, we don’t really know how long virtual YouTubers will continue to grow.

    >However, I think that’s fine. If I see a field that I think will be the next viral thing, I’ll just expand into it.

    >After all, I am a short-term-focus type of person (lol).

The suckers not getting a clue especially after he reiterated this deserve to be scammed

The basics of all businesses that aren’t charities or non profit is to spend on investments that will grow the company thus regaining the investment in the future.

Niji under this mentality isn’t long for this world, especially with more companies coming to take their place

  10. Aloe_Balm

So his plan is to debut more vtubers? That’s it? More meat for the grinder, replace what’s been consumed.

Meanwhile Cover spent 20mil USD equivalent on a new studio, which granted is more in-line with their history as a tech company, but it really shows the forethought of investment for future growth in a saturating market

  11. RaDi0_4cTiV3

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd its only March. Not even Q4 report yet

  12. military_otaku

Investor confidence at an all time high because CEO promised more Livers…/s

Well if the only investors left are NDF, who the hell cares? Riku spews bullshit, morons eat it up and will never sell the stock out of loyalty even if it keeps dropping.

  13. as expected from Niji, we don’t need to do anything to lower the stock price, they keep doing it themselves

  14. chimaerafeng

If you want to know how out of touch Nijisanji is with their problems, this is what they said:

Revenues generated from live streaming have not grown as much as we expected, and are slightly below plan. I think this is partly due to the popularity of YouTube as a whole, and also because the pace of our new debuts is a little slower than expected.

Sticking with their methodology to the end, they think the reason they aren’t earning as much from livestream is because they aren’t debuting enough talents quick enough and the solution is to release even more. Mind you, according to their own statistics, the last fiscal year they debuted 31 talents, the most ever in a single year and yet they only contribute to 7% of the revenue.

Then there is absolutely no point of having public investment. They are just eating away shareholder money and turning it into salary for executive management.

  16. Elucia729

    I’m sorry

Did they seriously look investors dead in the eyes and go “we have no plans to invest money into the company long term”?

    What the actual fuck

  17. so they basically saying that they don’t plan on investing too much on the livers, but instead investing in new gen then reap the profit, then abandon them and re invest it

  18. GurNo7984

number one vtuber company but focus on short term profit than long term profit

what in the fucking world is this i feel like riku having brain damaged

  19. Damn… I didn’t like that answer at all. And I’m not even an investor.

It kinda comes off as “invest now and see immediate returns”. Even if it’s a small, low-risk investment.

  20. one_frisk

Oh boy Monday will be spicy for anycolor stocks

  21. disma244

Awesome! So Niji expects consistent rapid returns on expenditures in the terms of months not years (This is a fucking delusional business plan btw).

This strategy has clearly led them to a clilff where investors have lost faith and fans are divesting from the company. So when asked what the actual long term plans are?

Apparently they don’t do that here and the plan is to just keep walking towards that cliff until they fall off. Who the fuck wants to invest in this company after hearing this?

  22. LynxRaide

Long term plans with no long term investment. This is the worst response they could give, cause it shows you are lying through your teeth, so what else are you hiding/not saying.

  23. SpringOSRS

nijisanji is the friendster of vtubing industry. they had real potential yet its gonna be wasted by those on top. smh my head

  24. LuxendarcKnight

What kind of level of growth is he talking about? Like 0 or into the negatives to reach that achievement?

  25. Derous6th

Although I’m not an investor, I’ve heard that brief cycles are far more advantageous than long-term ones. Considering that every contractor they work with is essentially a sock puppet wearing the Niji brand, it’s not strange at all. Simply put, their business strategy differs from Cover Corp’s.

They don’t require long-term funding because each audition presents a fresh opportunity to find the next cash cow. Minimal investment and if the leaked contract is to be believed, guarantee that they will at least recover the costs of VTuber Models.

Their reputation is completely fucked, and the fact that they don’t have a good plan to rebuild it is the main problem, imo. The possibility of opening a new EN wave just got a lot harder, and the growth rate may as well be in dead water. Anycolor has eliminated any possibilities of expanding into international market.
