I really don’t get the comparison you are trying to make here. The Towa clip is just of her going out to eat with several people including Coco and interacting with her for the first time in years. In it she says she’s going to make more effort to stay in touch now and that she doesn’t think Coco would be a good fit for the way Hololive has changed since she left.
Comparing a talent just talking about seeing someone in their life to a slander hit piece stream that was clearly mandated by the company just makes no sense.

Hololive views its talents as people and fosters an environment where innovators like Kiryo Coco and Amelia Watson can flourish and thrive.
Nijisanji views its talents as numbers and fosters an environment where innovators like Selen Tatsuki wither and eventually *die*.
Even when Coco leaving Hololive became inevitable, Cover still tried its best to do right by her and made sure her contributions to the company would never be forgotten.
Even when Selen tried to do the right thing by attempting to resolve issues in a private manner, Anycolor still tried to throw her under the bus, assassinate her character and purge her from the company’s history.
Yeah, the differences are obvious all right.
Nijisanji ousted its very own Amelia Watson. It nearly killed the very person who pushed the company’s boundaries and made innovations. It’s destined to remain stale and rot.
And that is a fitting punishment.

Two english speaking dragon vtubers. Both of them beloved by their audience, respected by people in the general vtuber community and the most popular members of their branches of their agency. Both known trendsetters, innovators and occasionally troublemakers. So many similarities that the differences stand out even more.

Lets be fair for a moment. Nina has been hanging out with the Niji girls a lot.

Look, as fun as it is to dog on Nijisanji, a lot of this happens off stream. We’ve seen Livers interact with graduates after graduation. Hell, Nina appeared on a stream AFTER SHE LEFT and I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen before in a corporate setting.
I’ve said this a lot, but it’s important to remember that we’re not privy to most interactions between livers. If livers are still interacting with Doki in a positive manner, they’re not going to do it publicly under Anycolour’s scrutiny. I’d give anyone who isn’t actively throwing gasoline on the situation the benefit of the doubt.

This is why I feel sorry for Elira and the other livers, if they really are the sweet caring people they seem to be then this whole mess must be so hard for them. Like I had an ideal outcome in my head that Elira would come on stream and apologies for everything and close with “Selen will always be my sister”. Now I almost hope she doesn’t feel that way cause well look how things are.
