Tokaido Shinkansen, Japan – Lake Hamana and Mount Fuji

This is the view of Lake Hamana and Mount Fuji from the Tokaido Shinkansen (Bullet Train) inbound train. Lake Hamana is a brackish lake and is the 10th largest lake in Japan. Farming of eels, laver, oysters, and soft-shelled turtles is thriving. Mount Fuji is best seen from around Shin-Fuji Stations. It was a clear autumn day, but there were clouds over Mt. Fuji.
