Somebody has to have a list of the dumbest reasons someone has gotten canceled. And this tantrum against Scarle has got to be one of the top entries now.
Is starbucks even anti Palestine? I don’t even see them on any of the boycott lists, the only thing I’ve seen them do is take down a pro palestine group for using their name. I can’t imagine any company remaining neutral wouldn’t do the exact same thing, why is Starbucks getting singled out (unless they’re getting boycotted for something else, which is fair, starbucks is shitty for many reasons)

as someone who has literally never watched VTubers and only lurks here for the drama I have a few observations
1. I would have to assume other members of Niji aren’t happy about Scarle gaining a status as a figure of rebellion and “the only one who 100% supports Doki” by the fans while they get thrown under the bus as possible bully candidates
2. The fact other creators didn’t try and support her is a clear sign she is NOT in the clique of Niji corporate favorites. It feels like she’s a pariah backstage (I feel like a lot of this pariah stuff is probably exaggerated by fans but I think at least some of it is true)
3. Niji aren’t going to let people leave. Kyo only got out because that was already announced. They know damn well that most people won’t want to touch them with a ten foot pole so everyone there is going to stay there as long as Niji can keep them. Scarle most likely is going to stay for her contract length so don’t be surprised if she’s still there in 6 months or even a year based on the agreement
This is just plain stupid.
