Hey guys welcome back to cod with miso today we’ll be taking you on a tour to my five favorite vomen shops in La all right let’s Go first up is Hokkaido Ramen santoka they are located in the food court section of every mitsa Japanese Supermarket which has locations all across La what’s great about this is every location makes it the exact same Way they are famous for their salt-based soup Ramen which despite the name isn’t overly salty and very well balanced in flavor but my favorite is their spicy miso salt-based Ramen with toroniku which is brazed pork Chic they always make their noodles perfectly firm and their broth is

Infused with salty fatty pork flavor and a c of Misa next up is suja La Artisan noodle the suja brand actually has three distinct locations all serving different styles of ramen but this is my favorite style for theirs the TU Min where the noodles are served separately from a thick bowl of broth and is eaten after you dip it in

I like to get the chashu one which is barbecue pork their chashu here is one of the best in the business and for those who like spice I highly recommend adding some fermented spicy bean paste here for that extra Kick the noodles are nice and thick and can be served hot or cold the dipping sauce is dense super rich and coats the noodle with fatty pork flavor after you dip the noodles in the broth squeeze some lime juice to your bite to add extra flavor while also cut

The saltiness if you guys haven’t tried dip Ramen this is the place to go Hakata Ramen is the ramen concept of the shinen Gumi Restaurant Group they are known for their delicate yet richly flavored tonkatsu pork broth Ramen and the tons of topping you can add allowing for Endless customization they also serve a wide variety of super yummy hot and cold Appetizers I love to get their spam misui with the Hakata noodles along with some extra pork belly poached egg and some shredded seaweed Their noodles are made inhouse and it’s nice and thin with a firm bounce as you bite into it everything here is quintessential comfort Food For those who don’t know spam masubi is a slice of grilled spam sandwiched between rice and some Nori here they also add a little bit of that plum sauce in between for a little bit of tartness this goes really well with the saltiness of the Ramen Ramen Nagi is a tokyo-based Ramen chain located in West food Mall in Sentry City they are rapidly growing in popularity in the US with several locations in California they have five distinct flavors of ramen on their menu such as calamari ink and basil and they also have a secret flavor which I’ll be

Having today lamb Ramen this is the only place I know of that serves lamb Ramen You can customize nudles broth and toppings here as well the lamb Ramen is served with a curry broth with corn onions and comes with a potato Patty and a few slices of lamb I always like to get a side of chashu here to go along with it because

Who doesn’t like chashu in their Ramen there is sometimes a line at the mall for the spot so I’d recommend coming slightly before or after dining W Hour Last but certainly not least is my favorite spot mou mou they are known for the mazman which is a soupless Rob I like to get the deluxe with Cheese the sauce is mixed with spices garlic chives fish sauce and a perfectly poached egg that oozes as you mix it with the noodles and the cheese adds an extra bit of texture and the chachu is perfectly cooked the flavor combination is absolutely amazing don’t let that lack of fatty

Pork broth fool you the flavors here pack one hell of a punch [Applause] Oh once you at the end of the bowl they would give you some rice to mix with extra sauce that’s left add a splash of vinegar and you have yourself with different flavor to end the meal definitely a spot you shouldn’t Missed Hope you guys enjoyed the ramen tour if you guys like our content please click like And subscribe and I’ll see you in our next one
