I began my day in Hiroshima with a visit to the Peace Memorial Park. The park’s exquisite design left me in awe, a contrast to the city’s complete destruction during World War II. I had never imagined Hiroshima to be such a beautiful place, but it proved me wrong. It stands out as one of the best cities I have travelled to. The Memorial Park, which had a couple of monuments and a museum, is not only well-designed but also serves as a sad portrayal of World War II’s memories.”

হিরোশিমা যে এতোটা সুন্দর হবে আমার কল্পনাতে ছিল না । শহরটা দ্বিতীয় বিশ্ব যুদ্ধের সময় পুরপুরি ধ্বংস হয়ে ছিল। এখন এই শহর দেখলে মনেই হবে না যে শহরটা পুরোপুরি ধ্বংস হয়ে গিয়েছিল। আমি দিন শুরু করেছিলাম পিস মেমোরিয়াল পার্ক ঘুরার মধ্যে দিয়ে। এটি এই শহরের আসল আকর্ষণ। পার্কটা খুব সুন্দর করে সাজানো হয়েছে যা দেখে দ্বিতীয় বিশ্ব যুদ্ধের করুন পরিণতির কথা মনে করিয়ে দেয়।
