I got these from secondary sources (Other websites) and they were never clipped nor even timestamped on youtube but the Streams are still there. I’m still on the against Niji but I wonder if she’s just saving face or regrets what she did to Zaion.

For some timing perspective: These clips are from streams after ‘One Girl’s Story’ got posted, and Kotoka started to catch flak from that.
From my perspective, there’s a reason I can be forgiving to Feesh but not to Kotoka, and its timing. Feesh said something before the wagons were circled that had no upside for her when she said something defensive about Zaion. It went against what was the ‘right move’ strategically, and there was no way she could’ve anticipated the tide of public opinion would reverse. It gives her the tiniest bit of a defense.
Everything Kotoka has said has been playing into the way the winds are blowing. In addition, she’s been near a second major issue, with some evidence that there are hard feelings from the other party. It could be crap timing, but its too many coincidences at this point.
Why are people bringing up this shit again? Sayu is happier and better off without niji and Kotoka is on a mental health break.
Kotoka’s comments were not in response to One Girl Story. That is incorrect. Here’s a proper timeline:
– Zaion Termination: March 10, 2023
– One girl story Google Doc: May 6, 2023
– Sayu 1st stream: May 7, 2023
– 1st clip: August 25, 2023
– 2nd clip: October 4, 2023
– Mel termination: January 16, 2024
Two separate comments were made 2 months apart from each other just in passing long after the One Girl Story. So I don’t think it was for saving-face. Below is a summary:
1st clip (5 months later): She misses Zaion and laments that the incident was unacceptable but uncontrollable. She laments she can no longer talk to Zaion and she laments she can’t say: “I wish I could’ve done this and that”.
2nd clip (7 months later): She misses Zaion and doesn’t want people to forget about her. She is grateful to Zaion for helping them to create connections with artists and other contacts in the vtuber industry.
I’ve moved her down from my “likely guilty” column to just “sus” but I can’t fully write her off yet. We’ll see.
Didn’t know about the timing thing until I read the comments, however it should be noted she was possibly Stealth Suspended post the 2nd time you listed she spoke about her.
As for why she did it, maybe she didn’t know what exactly happened until it was too late. That’s me being charitable about this and remembering some rumors as I’m writing this.

If you wonder if she’s saving face or regrets what she did to Zaion I can tell you this (Just my opinion).
She’s definitely not regretting what she did to Zaion. She ain’t catch me as this type of person. She regret the backlash she received due to this. If she could do this without any consequences she’d do this. She is known backstabber.
And just think of wording she chose. She could’ve use the million other words. But she chose to go with “I can’t wish her well”. That’s just plain callous and gives you a perfect image of a person behind those words.

Maybe it is already too late, since with the current situation no matter what she says, people for better or worse, will take her words out of context and the snowball will continue to grow, well I personally find it difficult to believe her even though on the other hand there is the argument of “they are pointing a gun in her forehead to say what she wants niji to say” that argument is no longer valid but still a part of me wants to think so
