Numbers are not a good indicator of nijisanjis performance right now, a lot of their collabs are unannounced and at strange times for the English audience. They’re purposely down playing the number of people that see their live for 2 reasons
1) damage control
2) to prevent the showcase actual impact their bad management has had
Because it’s well past midnight on a Saturday. A good percentage of EN watchers are unconscious.
Which is a shame because it was actually quite fun.
I also think Niji is gauging how much of the Asian market is left now that the western hemisphere is a lost cause. With more and more EN members moving into Japan they might change their strategy to just cater to Asia.
I’ve read the reasons, but still, 3.2k is too low for an off collab with that many members.
