Do you know Shirakami Resort train with this interior this live musical performance this amazing view and this too while sleeping like this are included in your Shinkansen Pass if you don’t this video from Aomori to Akita and to Morioka is definitely for you subscribe and turn on the notification bell

To follow my full itinerary for the Tohoku region woken up by the beautiful sound of Shinkansen we had a quick hotel breakfast before boarding the famous Shirakami Resort scenic train for a relaxing morning heading towards Akita this train is great for family and friends to catch up over snacks and games

Or simply rest for the rest of the 4 hours train ride there are three types of Shirakami Resort trains so if you plan well you will be able to board the newest train with special wooden interior there are many stunning scenic stops along the way as the train passes through scenic

West coastal areas of the Tohoku region and one of the UNESCO natural heritage sites Shirakami Sanshi the train always makes some short stops so you can head down and take photos for memories there is also a special traditional music performance while the train is moving what an experience

The final stop for this train is Akita which is one of the biggest cities in Northwestern Japan this city is famous for sake Kiritanpo and Inaniwa Udon which is a thin udon variant my partner and I are obsessed with udon so we have to try this unique udon

10 out of 10 must visit we also got some delicious cakes walk around the city and nearby garden next we travelled east with the red Shinkansen they can travel both forwards and backwards in a single trip so damn cool after some desserts we arrived at Morioka home to the three Great Noodles

Where we witnessed the merging of the red Komachi and the green Hayabusa Shinkansen Morioka is s Chinese Korean food heaven in Japan food itinerary in the description below the first of the three noodles we had was jajangmyeon at Pairon really good if you are a noodle lover

Remember to follow their special eating instructions for the full experience we then walked around Morioka visiting the history and Culture Museum and the beautiful public gardens and temples before eating at one of the best spots for Japanese beef and ramen the second Great Noodle Wanko Soba is the 3rd grade noodle

But honestly I don’t want to stuff myself with just pure soba noodles Pyon Pyon Sha’s interior and service are amazing the cold noodles are refreshing and bouncy complimenting the meaty melty wagyu beef over the grill 10 out of 10 must visit so good after the amazing dinner we took the Shinkansen to Sendai

Where we spent a few nights for our next Day 9 video we will show you where to visit in and around Sendai see you tomorrow
