Nah. That makes too much sense. Can’t have that at Kurosanji. Can’t have people making logical decisions.

And the sad part is (to be clear this is great) this should be the bare minimum of what we expect.
Just not trying to exploit people, even without intention.

For this type of creative industry that should be the standard both sides expect. If you want someone to create content for you, give them some freedom instead of trying to enslave them with a BS contract lol

All memes aside, Fishman really does seem to actually care about the talents, one of them (I forget who offhand) got Sakana to pay for her gym membership. Hell, Phase Invaders was literally him scooping up people from another agency that collapsed so they wouldn’t have to wait/tryout for a new wave and could land on their feet back in a corpo like they wanted without much issue.
also, buy phase coffee.

If it values its talents, that is definitely what a company should do, yes.
But we’re talking about Nijisanji, a company that doesn’t even want to pay $150 to offer a playbutton to their livers to reward them for their efforts…

I live in Canada so this is really nothing new. I’m more surprised that this isn’t the global standard in the 21st century. HR and Management even chase me down to sign off a performance review. Once again I am glad that I work in Canada where I can be protected against corpo bullshit.

PC is based in Canada, which has extremely regulamentated labor laws. Japan has a much harsher working environment, where exploitation is pretty much praxis and the government has no interest in regulating economy

Meme answer:
Sakana is too PTSDed from the Phase Connect mutiny(known as the Collective Menhera Moment) in year 1, so he’s jumping the gun preemptively to get it out of the way.
Also Riku wishes he had at least 1/10th of the meme respect the Fishman has lmao.

It’s ironic that Phase Connect (was?) known as the sad girl company but they’re actually pretty healthy. Shiina is best crab.

That’s actually better than most employers I’ve dealt with when signing an employment contract
